I notice a lot of your images are under the CC non-commercial licence. As I understand it this is incompatible with the philosophy of Wikipedia as a free encyclopedia. The GFDL that Wikipedia content is made available under allows commercial use, and it became official policy a while ago that non-commercial images would not be allowed. I'm telling you this not because I'm going round trying to enforce the policy but because I uploaded a few non-commercial images a while ago and then found out they were all destined for deletion. I argued about it at the time, saying that it should be possible to use computer metadata to filter out images that weren't licenced for whatever it was someone who reproduces Wikipedia content is trying to achieve, but I didn't get very far. Since that time it seems there has been no further movement on deleting non-commercial images, but I suspect it will happen sooner or later. If you own the copyright to an image you've uploaded under a non-commercial use licence and you're prepared to allow commercial use to keep it in Wikipedia then it might be an idea to relicence it at some point. I'm moving the article to asbestos and the law, since it's mostly about legal issues: regulations on handling, litigation arising from exposure. Nothing in the article actually links exposure levels to cancer (not that I'm doubting this).
The article needs to mention that the laws and litigation stem from public perception of the links. And then refer to the asbestosis article which explains the theory that asbestos fibers irritate the lungs, causing scarring, etc. If there are any studies correlating airborne asbestos exposure to lung diseases (like cancer), those should be cited too!
Finally, if there are any advocates trying to play up (or down) the risks of exposure -- perhaps for a financial motive? -- we should describe their advocacy as fairly as possible. Like Prof. Sei Feir of Islamabad Univerisity says asbestos inhalation causes no harm at all or The U.S. EPA estimates that 1,000 miners died each year from 1935 to 1985 from inhalation of fibers.
Wikipedia should not take sides in the controversy, but present all the arguments given by each side, including scientific studies (if any). Then the reader can make up his mind. --user:Ed Poor(talk) 15:29, Jan 24, 2005 (UTC)

Hi! Whilst browsing the Sheffield article I noticed that there are two photos that you added in June and July of last year. Both of these photos are marked with the {{unverified}} tag which, I think, means that they are likely to be deleted at some point. I got your message and responded on the AMA talk board already. Short version is that I and the members voting on the talk page felt secret ballot a more positive expression of individual views rather than public voting, especially in the wake of the shoddy ArbCom election. There was initially a tie 9-9, but then Alex756, who hadn't voted, providing the casting vote in my favour. I've been keeping a low profile since because it's a bit of an awkward situation, but this is degenerating into a bit of a farce, so I'm going to put my foot down soon. For what it is worth since Keith does not seem really interested that is the final nail in the coffin so to speak. I would have hoped that the advocates that suggested that I caste the deciding vote would have gotten closure on this, but apparently even though they made that suggestion they wimped out when it came to taking a stand on their decision (see Keith's post below) and they have let the situation just meander for a while. I hope Ambi puts her foot down and gets down to business, maybe the controversy will get the AMA some needed attention from some of its apathetic (but still somewhat useful) membership. I never got notified, either. It looks like Alex's statement that he would have voted for Ambi [1] was used as the deciding factor. Which I don't really disagree with (though I would have liked for the AMA to make the decision on how to split the tie, but Wikipedians increasingly abhor doing things right).
What confuses me is that, after seemingly accepting Alex's sentiment as the deciding vote, he subsequently proposed forming a governing committee with the reasoning "As there is not yet a settlement". [3]

Hi ! I've tried for your SPTC badge and my result is this : . I've done it with Inkscape, so it's a .svg image. For the colours, it seems that the image you have loaded has a green much more clear than the original one. That's why when you watch the Wikipedia:Requested pictures/Graphics#Logos & Symbols where I've inserted my result close to yours, you can see a real difference. Tell me what you think of my try and if I should better it. Hi Tyke ! Well, this morning when I saw the badge, I was not quite happy because there were some problems with the latin motto : the letters were up and down and some were badly inclined. So you have a new version (I've reduced too the frame). I don't know about british laws about copyright but in France where such laws are very strict, I believe we have no problems about copies from original drawings about subjects like blazons or signboards (I don't mean commercial logos). So you can be quiet about the licensing (anyway, you didn't draw it ! Maybe only french laws can be applied because the drawer is french ! LOL ! Other subject : french word for professional is professionnel with 2 n. Why 2 n ? I don't know. Anyway we say mariage instead of your marriage ! Orphaned fair use image (Image:Al stewart orange album 1972.jpg)

I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Hi MECU, thanks for the info'. It seems that the image (orignally included in Al Stewart ) has been replaced by another "fair use" item .
The new item is a more recent photo', but not an album cover, so I'm not sure how this fits in with current WIKI"fair use" policy. Well, the article about the album already has a duplicate image, which I believed to be slightly better in color so I tagged this image as redundant. Also, the album cover should not have been used except for on the article about the album, so it was in appropriate to use on Al Stewart. The image there is also used under Fair Use, but I marked it as Fair Use Replaceable as it appear to me to just show the singer and have no special purpose, and thus replaceable. If you disagree, you may dispute it. I have also notified the uploader who may dispute it as well. Hi Wikityke. You could use a photo of any of the bombers which were involved in the attacks and state in the caption that bombers like the one in the photo were involved. Hi, ultimately I would like to see the UK place infobox removed from the Crookes article altogether (see my comments at WP:SHEFF). However, if we do decide to use this template in the Sheffield district articles like Crookes I think that its primary purpose is to display the location map. Removing the coords from the template stops that location map from displaying. Hopefully someone will fix the template, as I think that your suggestion for including a scale option is good. Google Earth has been parsing coord (with display=title) for a couple of months now, and coord is supposed to be replacing the others in due course. AFAIK GE hasn't been parsing coord used via lat= and long= in infoboxes (eg The City School, which doesn't yet show up on GE). See eg Google FAQ. -- roundhouse015:41, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rated a B class article. Viewed 38,018 times in May, 2008. On 12 days there were over 1,000 viewings with a sudden peak of 4,200 on the 24th. Overall number of edits 2,269 with 88 in May, 2008.
Rated a B class article. The highest number of monthly viewings for our priority articles at 50,846 for the month of May, 2008. There were consistently over 1,000 daily viewings with a high of 2,000 on the 25th. Overall total number of edits 3,152 with 86 in May, 2008.

Article improvement
One of the aims of our project was to set up a periodic Article improvement drive. The article on our county town of York is suggested for this month. Please discuss and/or make edits to move towards WP:GA? status for our first selected article.

The project is now subscribed to a clean-up listing which lists articles tagged with various clean-up tags that need attention. The listing is refreshed by a bot on a regular basis.
Monitor Use the watchlist to keep an eye on changes to the project's articles so that vandalism and spamming can be removed as quickly as possible.
Infoboxes Many of our articles would benefit from the addition of an appropriate infobox. Useful ones include:
The new C-Class represents articles that are beyond the basic Start-Class, but which need additional references or cleanup to meet the standards for B-Class.
The criteria for B-Class have been tightened up with the addition of a rubric, and are now more in line with the stricter standards already used at some projects.
A-Class article reviews will now need more than one person, as described here.
References Please remember that the list of stubs needing expansion is always in need of attention. Please take a look and see if you can help. One small edit, such as adding a reference section and reference, to an article each session would make a big difference.
Moves Please be careful when performing articles moves and ensure that you also move all the talk sub-pages and update any image fair use rational. Otherwise the archives, to-do lists, assessment comments and GA reviews get lost and the image may be deleted as it has an incorrect FUR.

Wikipedia DVD Version 0.7 aims to be a collection of around 30,000 articles taken from the English version of Wikipedia.
The process of producing the list of articles for the DVD is currently under way and 43 of the project's articles are being
considered for inclusion. The list of selected Yorkshire articles can be seen here.
The selection has been done using a scoring system depending on the project's assessment, the number of incoming links to the article, the number of interwiki
links the article has and the number of times the article has been viewed.
The process of selecting clean versions for each of the selected articles is also being undertaken so that vandalised versions are not put on the DVD.
Some of the articles also have clean-up tags attached to them which need to be dealt with before a version can be used on the DVD. It would be good if members
could address any tags in the selected articles and fix the problem identified. Those articles that are tagged by multiple projects should get a visit by each of the projects involved
so the articles will probably get a lot of activity in the next few days.
The cut-off date for this work is October 20th, but changes to articles following version selection may not be incorporated as there may not be time to reassess them.

Missing co-ordinates
A recent entry on the project talk page Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Yorkshire#Missing coordinates alerted us to the fact that many of our articles do not display any geographical co-ordinates. Many also do not have infoboxes. As locational infoboxes usually have a field for co-ordinates, it was suggested that members might be able to kill two birds with one stone by adding an appropriate infobox at the same time as co-ordinates.
The infobox page usually includes detailed instructions for its use and many of the fields are not mandatory so are not displayed until information is entered.
The geographical co-ordinates for a location can be found on Google Earth.
Open Google Earth and enter the name of the location in the search box. (Quite often the article name can be copied and pasted directly into the search box but sometimes it is useful to add ,UK to the address.)
A results list is displayed beneath the search box.
Click on the right one.
Zoom in to check that the correct feature is being displayed on the image. (Sometimes the supposed feature is not at the centre of the page.)
Place the pointer over the location on the screen image and read the geographical co-ordinates from the panel at the bottom of the screen.
Make a note of the co-ordinates.
Open the tab of the article you are editing and add the co-ordinates in the co-ords field.
Once co-ordinates have been added the template {{coord missing}} should be removed from the article.

Just to let you know that a bot is currently sub-dividing the articles with missing co-ordinate data into sub-categories for ease of use. You can now find the articles by looking at the categories for each area as — East, North, South and West. From the discussions it looks like only the co-ordinates in the title area are being used by external sites so articles with multiple co-ordinates are not being handled correctly as yet.

It is time to take a break and to spend some time with family and friends. May be even to indulge yourself in the food and drink that abounds at this time of year or even make that occasional visit to a church. Though if you are at a loose end then many of you will be getting some new toys to play with which can be used to enhance wiki articles. Those new digital cameras can be used to get photographs for some of the articles which are currently without and for which the Geograph site has nothing suitable. May be it is a new PC that you just need to play with then spend some time checking out the watchlist for vandalism which tends to go unnoticed when there are fewer regular editors around. It may even be a book which can be used to add references to an article. May be you want to do something different then try creating spoken articles see the Spoken article project.

Citations are a necessity to give credence to the articles that we produce, so that the facts given can be verified. One of the templates that is used for this is {{Cite book}} to give details of books used for creating the articles. There has been some changes to the template that we should be aware of and make changes accordingly when editing articles. The id= field should no longer be used to give the ISBN number for a book instead use the isbn= parameter. The page= and pages= parameters now have the p. or pp. automatically inserted and so we should just put the page number in the fields. Use page= for a single page and pages= for multiple pages. If the insertion of p. or pp. is not required then use nopp=true to suppress this. Note that the number of pages in a book is not specified using these fields and at the moment a new parameter is being discussed to cover this.

It is time to take stock of what has happened in the last year well we have managed to get some priority articles selected and to get this newsletter in place to keep members up to date on what is happening. Orphan articles
Members may have noticed a new spate of article tagging by bots in the last month. A large number (over 250) of articles belonging to the project have been tagged with the {{Orphan}} template indicating that there are no or few incoming links to the article. It would be helpful if members tried to reduce the number of tagged articles by introducing wikilinks into related articles so that there is a minimum of three links to each of the orphaned articles. Once the links are in place the tag can be removed and the bot should not re-add the tag. The bot is currently only doing articles with no incoming links.
Portal
Those of you with eagle eyes may have spotted the change made to the Yorkshire Portal link in the project template. Rather than the usual jig-saw image it has been changed to the Yorkshire Rose image to give it a more distinctive look and hopefully raise the profile of the portal.

This has resulted in a significant number of the project's articles being tagged as needing coordinate data adding. At the time of writing there are 719 articles assigned to the Yorkshire categories with more expected as the bot moves articles from the United Kingdom and England categories into the county categories. It would be good if we could get the number down as when the co-ordinates are in place the article is available to other providers such as Google to display on maps. The best way of doing this is to complete the appropriate field(s) in the infobox template, if there is no template then consider adding one and killing two birds with one stone.

The new C-Class represents articles that are beyond the basic Start-Class, but which need additional references or cleanup to meet the standards for B-Class.
The criteria for B-Class have been tightened up with the addition of a rubric, and are now more in line with the stricter standards already used at some projects.
A-Class article reviews will now need more than one person, as described here.

Article tagging
This month I thought that I would focus on article tagging. Article tagging is the means of identifying that an article is within the scope of the project. This is done by placing the project template {{WikiProject Yorkshire}} on the talk page of an article below any existing project banners. Some pages have a number of banners and can get very cluttered, if this is the case then a shell is used to wrap the templates together and collapse them down to a single line. The main shells in use are {{WikiProjectBannerShell}} and {{WikiProjectBanners}} and any new template should be added inside the shell template. There is no longer a requirement to add the 'nested=yes' parameter to the Yorkshire template when doing this as it will be ignored.
Why tag, you may ask, the reason is to be able to locate relevant articles among all of Wikipedia's articles. If article 'Foo' is relevant to Yorkshire then, unless it is tagged, no one in the project will know it exists unless they happen to stumble across it. The odds are against this happening so tagging makes it easily identifiable to project members.
Once an article has been tagged it can be assessed to see what quality and importance it is to the project. This is done using the assessment parameters to the template, 'class=' and 'importance=', you can leave these to more experienced people to pick-up and assign. The results of this are shown in the statistics table on the left of the newsletter. Tagging also makes the articles appear on the project watchlist, article alerts log and clean-up listing when they are refreshed by the appropriate bot. It also provides readers with a point of contact if they wish to discuss the article in more detail and no responce has been received on the article's talk page or a wider audience is required on the discussion.
I would therefore encourage members to add the project template to the talk pages of articles they find that are relevant to the project so the rest of us know that it exists. You can also tag templates, categories etc. as these are all relevant to maintenance of the articles in the scope of the project. Vandalism on a template can affect a large number of articles so it needs watching.

Browsers
According to the article Usage share of web browsers the percentage of people using the Mozilla Firefox browser has increased steadily since 2004 and it now stands at 22.56%. The percentage of Wikipedia editors using Firefox is probably considerably higher because the Firefox browser has a number of advantages for editors. Not least of these is the add-on that lets you right click on a web page to get a Cite Web pop up on the menu. WPCITE allows you easily to create a citation template. This makes the laborious task of filling in web citation templates (almost) a thing of the past.
Another advantage of Firefox is the ability to use wikiEd which is a full-featured Wikipedia-integrated text editor that adds enhanced text processing functions to edit pages. And there is a spell checker Currently, wikEd works under Firefox, SeaMonkey, Safari, and Google Chrome, but not under Internet Explorer and Opera.
Mention of these other browsers reminds me that not all browsers render pages in the same way. What appears to be a beautiful layout in one browser can be rendered as a tangled mess of text and images by another. As most browsers can be downloaded for free, it is worth having several on your computer just to check the appearance of articles. Bear in mind that many people who use Wikipedia just for reference will have only Internet Explorer, and possibly quite an old version, so some of the latest "bells and whistles" may not work for them.
My apologies to old hands who already know all this, but to new users it really is worthwhile looking into the possibilities of different browsers on Wikipedia.

Citing sources for your text
In recent months some really promising Yorkshire articles from new editors have been appearing on Wikipedia. These editors have worked hard to produce interesting and informative texts with some exquisite images. However, some of these articles have lacked any verifiable sources, an absolute must for Wikipedia articles. Additional research is usually necessary to write a good article. An article has to be verifiable and citereliable sources which ideally should include books or peer reviewed journal articles. Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, or the material may be removed. The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be attributed to a reliable, published source using an inline citation.
Fortunately, Wikipedia provides a number of easily used tools to help with this task. Beside the Firefox add on that was mentioned last month there are a couple of toolbar options to help editors.
The first is on the default toolbar. It's the <ref>...</ref> button. This places any text that is placed between the markers in the References section on the article page.
The second handy tool is obtained by going to the my preferences section on the menu tabs at the top of the page, click GADGETS, go to Editing gadgets and check refTools. Save your options and a new CITE button is added to your editing toolbar. This little wonder, when clicked, produces options for citation templates beneath the existing toolbar. It is a fairly simple task then to copy and paste the information into the template and when you've completed as much as you can, click the Add citation button. This produces an inline citation. Of course this all depends on there being a References section on the page with either the <references/> markup or {{Reflist}} template added.
If you are in doubt about an unsourced statement, try copying the phrase or sentence and pasting it into the search box of your favourite search engine. Often this turns up a source which you can then add to the article yourself by filling in one of the citation templates on your editing toolbar. If you want to request a source for an unsourced statement, consider tagging a sentence by adding the {{fact}} template, a section with {{unreferencedsection}}, or the article with {{refimprove}} or {{unreferenced}}. Alternatively, you may leave a note on the talk page requesting a source, or you may move the material to the talk page.

Hi, I noticed that you're the one of the users with most edits to the above article so I thought you might like to know that it's currently undergoing a Featured Article Review. The article was promoted to FA status back in 2005 and needs a lot more in line references to be considered up to standard; the problem is that since it was promoted nearly 4 years ago most of the editors involved back then have probably left wikipedia, so anyone who is familiar with the article would be useful for rebuilding it. The review has been open since the middle of June so is likely to close soon with the article being demoted, but it would be a real shame if the article didn't regain FA status at some point. This month we focus on a recent requirement for images in articles—that of supplying alternative text for each of the images. This has been raised in FAC debates and is now a requirement for FA articles and as a result there is a general push to get all images marked-up. For example the {{Infobox UK place}} is currently undergoing changes in preparation for the use of alternative text on its images.
Alternative text is text added to the image mark-up to describe the image to someone who cannot see the image. The alternative text is in addition to the caption and should not duplicate information in the caption. It should be added, without any wikimark-up or line-breaks in it, using the alt= parameter of the image mark-up. For more information on this see WP:ALT.

Summer treasures?
As the summer holiday season draws to a close, it is likely that many of our project Yorkshire members will have visited the Yorkshire coast. Some will have digital photographs stored on their camera cards or have leaflets and guide books about places they have visited. Now is the time to put all that wonderful treasury of information onto Wikipedia, before they all get lost in the run up to Christmas. (Ah yes, I can see supermarkets selling off barbecues to make room for baubles.)
There are two major categories for our coastal venues Category:Coastal settlements in North Yorkshire and Category:Coastal settlements in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Many of the articles in these categories are not kept up to date on a regular basis. Although it has to be said that some of the articles about the more popular resorts are well maintained and regularly watched for vandalism. Some tend to suffer from being overlinked to commercial enterprises but most sit there waiting patiently for a bit of TLC.
Fish and tricks at the seaside
Our own watchlists often become unmanageable after a while, so here is a way to make the task of keeping an eye on specific articles much easier.
You can create your own separate Watchlist for any articles that you are interested in helping to maintain or expand by:
listing the articles on a clean Sandbox page
clicking on "Related changes" in the toolbox area to get a list of recent changes for your adopted articles
copying and pasting the URL displayed on the address bar of your browser to a convenient place, maybe your to do list.
And, of course, you can change the options at the top of the page to display more or fewer changes, as usual.
(This trick works for any special little watchlists that you might like to create!!)

The addition of the popular pages facility to the Yorkshire sidebar last month has thrown light on which of our articles Wikipedia readers actually access most. The first month for which there is complete data is September when Arctic Monkeys were in pole position with an average 6,869 hits daily. In second place with 5,781 was Wuthering Heights followed by Dracula with 4,996. The table is sortable on a number of attributes but the sort takes a while to complete.
As the page has a link to current data it is possible to see and compare current raw data for daily hits. So far the October statistics (up to October 20th) reveal that Dracula with 5,474 daily hits is well ahead of seasonal favourite Guy Fawkes with 4,411, and last month's favourite, Arctic Monkeys, are pushed into third position with a daily hit score of 4,259.
Three football clubs Leeds United A.F.C., Hull City A.F.C. and Middlesbrough F.C.get into the top 25 along with several pages about literary topics such as the Brontë family and their works. Television personalities are well represented, Jeremy Clarkson (4,559) is 4th overall in the list and Judi Dench is 23rd with a hit score of 1,577. Do the history topics in the top 25 suggest homework assignments?
It will be interesting to monitor the rise and fall of pages on the list which will also suggest where our efforts as a project might best be directed for maximum impact.

Christmas Greetings
Welcome to all our active members. This is the twentieth newsletter, the Christmas 2009 issue, and by the time it reaches members there should still be time to drop some helpful hints about seasonal gifts for Wikipedians. The obvious things are computer and digital stuff, and books. (On Wikipedia socks are only for those with a sad identity crisis.) What sort of things? Well, computer stuff can be anything from a high spec laptop, through wireless networks, antivirus software, graphics software to memory cards and memory sticks. Digital cameras are coming down in price and an MP3 player can double up as a memory stick.
A useful book for apprentice Wikipedians is, "Wikipedia: The Missing Manual" by John Broughton, it's full of tips, tricks and explanations and can be bought at about half the price on the cover if you shop around. "The World and Wikipedia: How We are Editing Reality" by Andrew Dalby has just one five star review on Amazon, and the review of "The Wikipedia Revolution: How a Bunch of Nobodies Created the World's Greatest Encyclopedia" by Andrew Lih says "it's a book that will certainly make you think, but it will also leave you frustrated!". It might be a better idea to go for a reference book about your next favourite sport, hobby or indulgence. A good atlas always comes in useful as does a thesaurus, for when you come across the seventh time a word has been used in a paragraph! Or the good old phrase "is the home of" turns up yet again.

Assessment
This month we focus on article assessment as a lot of work has been going on behind the scenes on this. In January the new version of the bot used for generating the information was deployed. For the observant you will have noticed the changes made to the assessment table on the left, it now has details of all of the pages other than articles that are tagged with the project banner. Now you can see counts of the categories, templates, files and other miscellaneous tagged pages that the project is looking after. The article count earlier in the newsletter does not include all of the newly reported classes as they are not really articles.
A new facility is the ability to click on any of the numbers and get a list of the articles that are in the intersection of the article importance rating with the quality rating. For example this enables you to see all of the articles that the project has rated as high priority stub-class articles. This is something that was not readily available prior to this revision of the bot.
The quality ratings are only valid at the time they are done and may be out of date as some of the assessments were done over two years ago. Many of the articles have changed since they were rated so it would be good if members could re-rate them when they see substantial changes to a particular article or flag it up for someone more experienced to take a look at and revise the quality rating if appropriate. Many of the articles were rated before the introduction of the C-class rating so may be over rated as B-class articles or under rated as Start-class articles.
Other changes have taken place in the formatting of the log files and more is to come. The data is now stored in a database off wiki and so tools can be written to generate further reports, have customised rating levels for projects etc. The bot is also able to get through the articles quicker and so is reporting changes daily rather than about weekly as with the previous version.

Biographies of Living People
This month we need to concentrate efforts on Biographies of Living People (BLP) as detailed at WP:BLP. There is currently ongoing discussions about what should be done with nearly 50,000 unsourced articles on living people that have accumulated and being tagged with the {{BLP unsourced}} template. Options range from deleting all of them immediately to a period of grace for the articles to be sourced. There is also discussions as to what should be done, going forward, with new articles on living people that are created without sources. Do have your say on these discussions here, if you are interested in biographical articles.
As a project we have not tagged many biographical articles but looking at the articles of people under the Yorkshire category an estimate of 150 of these are tagged as unreferenced. This does not include those related to the various sports people who play for the many teams in the area. Obviously those articles relevant to the project we would want to save from the axe and so we need to concentrate our efforts on referencing articles that have been tagged as unreferenced. Once articles have been given some references then the tag can be changed to {{BLP sources}} or removed, if full referencing has been done.

Biographies of Living People
As a follow up to last month's feature on BLP articles a BOT is now creating project listings of those BLP articles that are tagged as totally unreferenced. The listing for our project can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Yorkshire/Unreferenced BLPs, I have added a link to this from the project side-bar for easy access to the listing. There are just five articles remaining on the list at the time of going to press, so well done.
General Election
The next General Election will be announced sometime during the month and so we need to concentrate our efforts on the articles relating to this. There are two main sets of articles relevant here, firstly the constituency articles and secondly the articles relating to the candidates that are standing for election. Taking the first group there are a number of boundary changes relating to the constituencies in the area that will be implemented at the time of the General Election. These changes need to be reflected into the settlement articles that are affected by the change. I would suggest that the settlement's history section is updated to include details of the former constituency when adding the new one so that information is not lost. All of the constituency articles will need to be kept up to date with the list of candidates that are standing for the election. Much of the basic work on this has been done but new candidates will emerge until the closing date for candidates to declare. Note that the order of candidates should be maintained in ballot paper order prior to the result being declared so that we do not favour any of the parties in the election. So even if A. Aardvark is standing for the "Lets do away with wiki" party then they should appear first regardless of if we support them or not.
On the second set of articles, those on candidates, we are back to issues relating to BLP, NPOV and to avoiding them, or their supporters, using wiki as an electioneering medium. We should be vigilant to remove anything that ventures into this area as quickly as possible. There may be articles for candidates who are standing that are not tagged for the project so it would be good for these to be tagged so we can keep an eye on them. It is also a good time to improve the articles on the candidates as they will no doubt get more hits during the election period. Those of you in the UK may also see some of the candidates out on the campaign trail and it would be good to get a photo for their article if possible. It does not have to be a Yorkshire related politician as there are lots of articles about politicians that needed photos or updates to dated images.

Elections
The next General Election will take place this month as will the local elections in a number of areas in the region and so again this month we need to concentrate our efforts on the articles relating to these.
Last month I concentrated on the general election related articles in the run up to the announcement of the election. This month we need to concentrate on the aftermath of the election. The constituency articles are the first ones that need to be looked at and the results added to each of these. This gives us an opportunity to have some references on these pages as there will be extensive media coverage for the results. The articles relating to the set of new MPs will need to be updated to include details of their election victory and the office they take up in the new parliamentary session. At the same time those articles relating to politicians who loose their seat will need to be updated to cover this and to show the successor to the seat/office they held. Other articles that need to be looked at are the settlement articles to see if they need updating as a number of them mention the party that represent the place and some give details of the MPs that represent them.
As well as the general election there is also the local elections that are being held on the same day and again this needs to be looked at when updating the settlement articles as the council make up is often described in the governance section or given in the infobox. These elections will necessitate new articles creating for each of the councils that are holding elections to record the details of the election and the results. Others may generate these articles and members should tag these with the project tag {{WikiProject Yorkshire}} when they find them so that they can be tracked and are not forgotten about.

Images
As a change from all the election related material this month I thought that we could look at images. With summer on its way in England then it is time to spend away from the computer and in the great outdoors. There are many events and places to visit so if you are taking time out at any of these then take along your camera and capture the scene. Then when back home you can upload the images to Commons so that they can be used on any of the projects run by the foundation. This is preferred to uploading just to Wikipedia as they are more widely available to other projects and save time of people having to make the transfer of suitable images. When uploading images to Commons then you need to categorise the image to enable it to be located easily and to group it with others of a similar theme. It is best to put it in a specific category, but if you cannot find one then pick the best fit you can and others will shift it around into more suitable categories. The process is similar to article categorisation and multiple categories can be added, as appropriate, but an image should not normally be placed in a category and one of it's sub-categories.
There are a number of articles requiring images and the Yorkshire related ones can be found here. Take a look before you go out as you may be able to fulfil one of the requests while out visiting.
If you locate an article that requires an image and no suitable image is available then add the {{reqphoto}} template to the article talk page to flag the article appropriately. If you want an image of a specific thing then you can use the of= parameter to give details. For example, if an interior shot is required of the building that is the subject of the article then use {{reqphoto|of=interior}}. You can narrow the image to a location by using the in= parameter, {{reqphoto|in=Yorkshire}} will request a photo in Yorkshire. If you use North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire or the East Riding of Yorkshire in place of Yorkshire then it will categorise in the appropriate sub-category but will not show up in the request box. A way round this is to apply Yorkshire and the division to the request and they will show up but remain unlinked. So to a request an image in the East Riding of Yorkshire it may be best to use {{reqphoto|in=Yorkshire|in2=the East Riding of Yorkshire}} to show in the request box and classify it in both Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Yorkshire and Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
For biographical articles the biography project template {{WPBiography}} has a needs-photo= parameter which should be set to yes if a photograph is required.
When adding an image to an article also check the talk page and remove the flags if the image fulfils the request.

Pending changes
The trial period for Pending Changes is under way and will last for two months. Initially this will be restricted to a pre-defined set of articles that are updated on a daily basis. The queue of articles for the trial is here. This involves a change to the article settings, similar to article protection, that allows edits by anonymous and non-autoconfirmed users to be delayed before going live. (It is possible to set it so that all edits need reviewing but this is not been used for the trial.) These edits will only go live when they have been reviewed by another user who has been granted the Reviewer user rights. Pages with revisions waiting review can be found here. A large number of the regular editors have been granted this privilege for the trial and if not it can be requested here. It is a good idea to have a look at the pages that have this applied so that you are clued up for the discussion following the trial. Those of you with one of the selected articles on their watchlist will get a notification at the top of the watchlist page when there are pending changes to an article on their watchlist.
Once the trial is over there will be a discussion on rolling the system out generally or to reject this method of handing changes. If you want more details on this then take a look at the help document.

Maps
This month I thought that I would focus on the current discussions over the maps used in infoboxes for UK articles.
Firstly an initiative by user Nilfanion (talk) is currently under way on producing map data for the whole of the UK. The maps would cover all counties, wards, civil parishes etc. and be derived from the Ordnance Survey OpenData release. Further details can be seen here where feedback would be appreciated on two specific concerns—the colour scheme and line thickness. Discussion is also taking place as to what features to include on the maps, such as rivers, roads and railways.
Second discussion here on another alternative for mapping data changes to existing maps in infoboxes for districts, boroughs and cities in the UK.
Thirdly a discussion on Wales maps in place infoboxes is under way here, which has branched out into a general discussion on the initiative by user Nilfanionhere.
It would be good if members take time to have a look at these various proposals and comment, where they feel they have some input to offer, as these proposals could potentially affect all of the UK articles with maps in their infoboxes. If you do not speak now then you will have to put up with the results!

Updates
Last month I brought your attention to the proposals for changes to maps in articles and the newer maps have started to be deployed on some of the Scotland and Wales articles. The English ones will follow on though there has been comments on the loss of some features so this may be revised before mass deployment.
The trial for the pending changes implementation has ended and after discussion a straw poll is under way and now is the time to voice your opinion over the trial and if pending changes should continue to be used or if it should be abandoned.
A further batch of about 10,000 images from the Geograph project has been uploaded to Commons. If you are looking for an image then there may be one available on Commons you just have to search for it! Many of the images are incorrectly categorised at the moment but these are being rectified as they are spotted. If you have time then you can give a hand checking out the image categorisation.

Wikipedia 0.8 release
Work is starting on preparing release 0.8 of the off line version of Wikipedia and the articles are in the selection stage. The initial selection has been done using some metrics about each of the articles. The number of projects that are interested in the article and the breadth of the individual projects. This is followed by the ratings of quality and importance that have been assigned to the article by each of the interested projects. There is also factored in what is termed the "External interest points" which is based on the number of hits the article gets, the number of unique internal links the article has and the number of inter-wiki links the article has. If you want more detail of the algorithm used then see here.
They have also selected a specific version of each of the articles that they consider is a stable version without vandalism using a version of the WikiTrust algorithm.
After all of this work they have come up with a selection of 116 articles that have been tagged as relevant to our project and these can be viewed here. We have a chance to influence this selection by reporting articles that people do not think are suitable or where an inappropriate version has been selected. It would also be a good idea to try and tidy up these articles before they get published if anyone has the time. Of the 116 the two articles that have been identified by tags as most needing attention are Asda and Rotherham. We have until October 11th to check out and report any problems or improved versions that need to be incorporated in to this release.

Dead links
This month I thought that I would concentrate on the problem of link rot in articles. Many of you will have spotted a BOT tagging references with the {{Dead link}} template. The template is added when the external link in a reference is detected as being inaccessible or is a redirect to the main page of the site. You should not remove references that are marked as dead unless you are replacing the reference with a new reference. The information in the reference may be useful to someone trying to locate a valid reference for the text. In order to help this process, when adding references in the first place, add as much detail as possible. It is easier to put in the detail while the reference is in front of you rather than waste someone else's time having to fill in the detail. If you want more detail then see Wikipedia:Link rot.
Many of the project's articles have been tagged in this way by the BOT and it would be useful if members could take a look at the tagged references, when visiting a page, and see if the problem can be resolved. May be the link is now active again in which case it is just a simple task of removing the template. May be an archived copy of the link can be located at the Wayback Machine, just add the link to the reference, if it is templated use the =archiveurl & =archivedate paramerters to record the new location of the link. If the site has been restructured then it may be possible to locate the same page used in the reference by following the links from the home page of the site. In this case replace the URL in the reference and remove the tag. Finally a replacement reference may need to be located if copies of the existing reference cannot be tracked down. If a new reference is used then the old reference and the tag can be removed.

Wishing all project members a Happy Christmas and thanks for all the work you have put in to the project over the last year. We have made great strides forward especially in the area of Good Articles
and this month we have a bumper set of seven articles trying for GA status. Some passed the review while others did not, but even a try moves an article forward. Thanks to ll those involved in these articles and keep up the good work.
Cleanup listing
Some members will know that we were subscribed to the clean-up listing that was produced on an occasional basis by a BOT. The BOT owner has left and has not released the source of the BOT for someone to pick-up. The last run of this BOT was in March of this year. Others have stepped in and produced a new tool that runs on the tool server to provide projects with similar information.
The clean-up listing gives details of all of the articles with the project's banner that have clean-up tags attached to them. The listing is in alphabetical order but can be sorted on class, importance or the number of different tags found in an article. If you want the listing grouped by the different tags then the tag grouped listing should be used.
According to the tool run dated 28 November of the 8,729 articles in this project 2,725 or 31.2% are marked for clean-up, though I am unsure how it gets the article count figure as that does not appear to match the counts from the assessment table.

Article Alerts
After nearly a year without the Article Alerts listing after the previous BOT operator departed a new BOT has been developed to give similar functionality. This was trialled on a few projects over the New Year period and has now been rolled out as a replacement for the original BOT. Just to remind members the listing gives changes to the status of articles tagged with the project template. It includes details such as good article candidate, articles up for deletion etc. the full list of workflows covered by the BOT can be seen here.
The BOT runs daily and updates the project listing at Wikipedia:WikiProject Yorkshire/Article alerts. The BOT edit summary indicates the extent of the change so if the listing is watchlisted you can quickly tell if there is anything that may be of interest. If there are things that the BOT does not pick-up then do report them here so that they can be fixed. If you think an article should be covered by the project then add the project template {{WikiProject Yorkshire}} to the talk page of the article.

Great Backlog Drive
Most of you should have spotted the advertisement for the Great Backlog Drive that is under way at the moment. This is an initiative to reduce the number of tags that are attached to articles by attempting to fix as many of these as possible. Of cause some tags are more of a problem to fix than others but the purpose of the drive is to cut down the overall number of articles that have identified problems in them, rather than concentrate on specific problems. It would be good if project members got involved in this and fixed tags that they come across in their editing. It would also be helpful to avoid tagging new problems by fixing them when you spot the problem, though if you cannot fix it then tag for someone else to look at.

WikiConference UK 2011
Just a reminder for those members in the UK that there is the WikiConference UK 2011 that takes place in Bristol on 16 April 2011. This will incorporate the Wikimedia UK's annual conference. Commons images
For those of you who missed it, April saw a milestone for images on Commons with the upload of the 10 millionth image. There are images on most subjects, if you can find them, to illustrate articles. With the major work of transferring Geograph images to Commons nearing completion then most location articles should have images available for use in illustrating the subject. All of the village and civil parish articles that had articles in December 2009 had categories created on Commons for them so that the Geograph images can be placed into them. Thus the {{Commons category}} template can be added to all village and civil parish articles to link to all the available images on Commons for the location. Though beware that if the template does not have any arguments, moving of the article to a new name will break the link to Commons so it is wise to include the article name in the template call e.g.{{Commons category|Rotherham}}.
Those of you interested in helping out at Commons are more than welcome to help organise and categorise all of the uploaded Geograph images so that they can be found and made available to users.

Featured Lists
Featured Lists have been promoted during the last month and have now been given their own weekly slot on the main page. Lists appear on the front page on Mondays just above "Today's featured picture". This may be extended to other days at a later date if people like it. In line with this I have also added a box for lists on to the Yorkshire Portal and created a couple of entries to start it off, more will be added later.
The project currently has 12 featured lists, out of 208 project articles identified as lists, and it would be good if we could get some of these on to the front page. Of anyone wants to take this up they need to create an entry for the list and nominate them to be considered here.
Lists are easier than articles to get to featured status as there is less prose to be created and the bulk of the page is the list itself. Most of the project's current featured lists are on football related topics and it would be good to get a broader range of topics for out Featured Lists. Some of the 208 lists could be brought up to featured status with a little bit of work, if any one wants to take up the challenge.

Vandalism
With the start of the school holidays there is more chances of vandalism to articles at this time of year. It is time to remind members to be on the alert for vandalism to articles, especially those that are in the projects scope.
Here is a recent example of one that slipped through the net this edit which was reverted by an IP over a month after it was made! You can check the changes to the project's tagged pages using the watchlist or you can use the toolserver version which looks at just articles here. The former may not be up to date, as it requires manual update of the list of articles, but does cover all namespaces.

Back to school
September and October are the months when many young people move from one school to a new school, or to university. It tends to be a time when freshers "look up" their new schools and colleges on Wikipedia and decide to edit for the first time. Many additions to school articles, in the past, have been unsourced, some poorly formatted and some in violation of other Wikipedia policies. More experienced editors can help here. It is easy to become frustrated, hit revert and issue a warning of some sort. How off-putting for a new editor.
New editors do make innocent mistakes and it is up to us all to try to welcome and support them; perhaps by issuing a welcome message, helping them to find sources or format references and citations. Obviously, not all will turn out to be paragons of Wikipedia virtue, but we can at least give them the opportunity. May be it is time for us all to re-read the essay Please do not bite the newcomers.

New software release
October sees the next release of the MediaWiki software (version 1.8) that runs the English Wikipedia. It will probably live by the time the newsletter arrives by the last few month's delivery dates! If you see any problems with the page display on any articles or problems with your favourite gadget or script then it may be a problem with the new release of software. It is worth checking out the Village Pump - Technical board to see if there has been any report of a similar problem. If not then raise a new thread to get it recorded and to see if there are any of the technical people that can point you at a solution. Hopefully things will go smoother than previous releases but these things always throw up obscure problems that have not been foreseen.

Collaboration
Each month the project has a collaboration of the month when two articles are nominated to be worked on by members during the month. One of these is usually a B-class article and one a start-class article. Some of these have not really been worked on by members and I would encourage all members to get involved and see what can be achieved. An example of the success of this effort has been Whitby which was the B-class collaboration article in July and has just achieved Good Article status. This was achieved by just the efforts of three editors just think what would be achieved if all of the 91 members got involved in editing these articles. They may not be ones which are of particular interest to you but they relate to Yorkshire in some way so they raise the profile of the county and can often be related to articles you are interested in in some way or other. I have tried to rotate round the county with a variety of differing topics while steering clear of the ones designated as our priority articles. If you have an article that you think could be improved in one of these collaborations then just nominate it on the project talk page and I will fit it in at some point.

Many of the regular editors will be away over the break and vandalism tends to increase at this time of year, could be all those new computers that people get for Christmas. So if you are around then keep an eye out for vandalism to the project's articles and revert as soon as possible. All of the good work of the project can be destroyed quickly if vandalism is not spotted and dealt with.

New software release
We are getting near to the next release of the MediaWiki software that runs Wikipedia, this will be version 1.19 and is expected in the second half of February. For those of you who are interested in the details of the changes then take a look at this page on MediaWiki.org. There is usually some disruption around the time of the release so if you experience problems then check out at the Village Pump to see if the problem has been reported. If it has not then report it so that the developers can get a view of the problem. One area of concern is the scripts used by users to perform routine tasks. It could be that if this change is included in the deployment then scripts may need to be changed to declare modules the script is dependent upon. So if your favourite script fails to work this could be the problem and will need to be fixed.

New software release
By the time you read this the new software release mentioned in the last newsletter should be in as it is currently scheduled for 2 March. Problems in switching other wikis have been encountered, most notably Commons, which was reverted twice and, at the time of writing, is still experiencing problems with the new software. See article in Signpost for details.
Discussions
Members may be interested in some discussions that are ongoing at the moment. A discussion on whether or not secondary schools meet notability guidelines is still on-going. If you are interested in having articles on secondary schools then raise your voice in the discussion. Another schools related one is taking place on the talk page of template {{Infobox UK school}} about introducing co-ordinates in to the infobox in addition to the top right corner of the article. Similar discussion was also raised at {{Infobox UK place}}. If you have views then chip in and see if consensus can be found on these areas.

Link rot
This month I thought that we should focus on link rot in articles. Articles are created with lots of references to online sources as this is often easier than using printed sources. This is all well and good until a few months down the line when the web site is no longer available or has been re-organised and the page linked to has been moved. Whatever the reason for the change results in the reference link in our article becoming dead or just pointing at the main page of the site in question. The link therefore provides no verification for the information in our article and needs to be repaired. If you find a link like this then it should be tagged with the {{dead link}} template rather than deleted as the information may give someone a clue as to where to find a replacement link. If you know where the page has been moved to then go ahead and change the URL in the reference rather than tagging it. You could Google to see if a new page can be located or use the Wayback machine to see if there is an archived copy of the page available. If an archived version is located then use the |archiveurl= and |archivedate= fields of the {{citation}} template to record the archived version of the page.
The more information that is recorded when the reference is added the easier it is to find replacement URLs so remember to record as much information as possible when adding a reference. A bare URL with no information as to page title, publisher, publication date etc. makes finding replacements almost impossible. You can add archive details when adding a reference so that there is a backup copy already recorded for the reference. A BOT is currently operating to add archive details to live links to prevent future link rot. For more information on the subject of link rot see here.
It would be good, if this month, we try to reduce the number of {{dead link}} templates in the project's articles as a BOT is currently going round adding the template to articles.

Elections
May is the month for local elections to take place in many of our town and cities. This will create a lot of work in updating all of the place articles that include council make-up details. In addition each of the elections will require a new article creating to cover details of the election and the results in each of the wards. A number of elections from the last round of elections have not yet been created and it would be good if the missing election articles could be created so that we have a full set of recent elections for Yorkshire.
At the same time as the local council elections a number of cities in the area are holding a referendum on elected mayors. The main article will need to be updated with the results from each of the cities involved and any background that may be relevant to that article. Individual articles covering the referendum in each of the cities involved would also be useful to create while the details and references are to hand in the local press.

Commons links
This month I thought that I would mention the {{Commons category}} template to generate a link to image categories on Commons holding additional images for topics. The template should be added to articles where Commons holds a number of other images that are not displayed in the article to provide a convenient link to these additional images. If you do not want to display the box then {{Commons category inline}} can be used instead to add an entry to the External links section.
The problem with both these templates is they use the article name as the name for the category on Commons so if an article is renamed the link is broken. To overcome this please ensure that all usages of these templates have as the first parameter the name of the category on Commons that is being used, even if it is the same as the article title. To enable those usages that have not been given a parameter to be tracked the hidden category Category:Commons category template with no category set has been set up. This has initially only been applied to the {{Commons category}} template. It would be good if members fixed these while editing articles to avoid having to edit specifically to fix the problem.
For newer members you can see hidden categories by setting the "Show hidden categories" option in the "Advanced options" section of the "Appearance" tab of the "my preferences" link.

Did You Know?
At the suggestion of a member I have added Did You Know? entries for the project to the article activity section of the newsletter. Not having had any entries since January this month saw seven Yorkshire related articles appear in this front page section. There is a list of the recent entries from the project's articles on the main project page with a full list here.
When working on an article it is always worth considering if it can be nominated for the Did You Know? section on the main page. May be a little more work but it does get the article recognised and exposed to a wider audience. The main requirements for a nomination are that, within the last five days, it was created, expanded fivefold or, for an unsourced BLP, newly referenced and expanded twofold. If you think an article meets these basic requirements then take a look at the eligibility criteria and make a nomination. The hook is the important part of the process as that is the text that will appear on the front page and this must be mentioned in the article with an appropriate inline citation to back it up. If you can suggest more than one hook for an article then the more chances of it been selected for inclusion on the front page. If you do nominate it is important to keep an eye on the nomination as there may be questions/suggestions from those reviewing the hooks that you will need to respond to if the nomination is to succeed.

Sporting feast
Just in case it has escaped members notice but August is a big sporting month with the 2012 Olympic Games taking place at the start of the month and the 2012–13 Football season getting under way from the middle of the month. There are likely to be lots of articles that will need changing as we go through the month with new signings, new records etc. so keep an eye on sport related articles and try and keep them up to date.
I have picked a pair of sport related items for this month's collaboration from the suggestions on the project talk page. So those of you with a sporting slant should have plenty to get going with this month.

This month is the time for the start of a new school year. Signpost
The editors over at the weekly Signpost, that goes out to a large number of people on Wikipedia, have indicated that they would like to feature the Yorkshire project in one of the future editions. There was an invitation on the project's talk page for members to get involved in this by responding to a series of questions. It is disappointing that no members have stepped forward to respond to this but they have gone on my responses and the project should be featured in the 3rd December issue of the magazine.

2011 Census
The Office for National Statistics have now published the detailed information from the 2011 Census for wards and parishes. The data can be searched for on their web site here. Would be good to get the information added to all of the relevant articles but this is a big job. If the article already has the 2001 census figures then it may be worth retaining these, in the text of the article, for comparison purposes.

Interwiki links
There has been a major change this month to the way that interwiki links are handled with the introduction of Wikidata. Wikidata is a central place to record meta-data about an article and the initial phase was rolled out this month to cater for interwiki links. The links in the language area are served from this project and can be edited by use of the "edit links" icon at the bottom of the list. These links in articles are now redundant but if present override the information supplied by wikidata. Check each of the links to ensure that they exist and are correct on wikidata before removing the entry from an article. BOTs are in the process of removing these links from articles but will leave behind missing or conflicting links for someone to investigate and fix appropriately.
Be aware that when moving articles to change the destination for the en interwiki link on wikidata to point to the new article location. The redirect will normally take care of this
but if the original name is reused for a different article then other wikis will be pointing to an incorrect location.
Wikidate also does not handle section links in the interwiki link so these must remain as part of the article code.
Watchlists have been changed to give an extra option to Show/Hide changes to wikidata entries for articles on the watchlist.

Lua

The code is held in the new namespace of Module that was created for this purpose. One of the first places to show the change is the search screen that now has options to search the Module or the associated Module talk namespaces.
The use of Lua is expected to improve the speed of loading of pages with a large number of complex templates. The heavily used complex templates are being targeted for early conversion to use Lua. {{Coord}} and {{cite}} family of templates are among the first to receive attention. If you see any problems when conversion is made then report them to Technical Village Pump or to the talk page of the module involved.

Thanks to the contributions of our many members and supporters, WP:YORKS has become a leading local British WikiProject in terms of the total number of articles supported (up from 10,605 last month to 10,659 on July 29th). In the area of GAs WP:YORKS at 105 is ahead of WP:GM who have 79. WP:GM has the lead in FAs at 57 out of a total number of 3,269 articles.
Currently we have thirty Yorkshire featured articles:
The number has been kept deliberately low to give us a fighting chance of improving them to at least GA status, also so we can concentrate our efforts on these first.

The August 2013 articles selected below are an editor choice as there were no further suggestions from the project talk page.
The project is subscribed to a clean-up listing which lists articles tagged with various clean-up tags that need attention. The listing is refreshed by a bot on a regular basis.
Monitoring is essential Use the watchlist to keep an eye on changes to the project's articles so that vandalism and spamming can be removed as quickly as possible.
Moves Please be careful when performing articles moves and ensure that you also move all the talk sub-pages and update any image fair use rational. Otherwise the archives, to-do lists, assessment comments and GA reviews get lost and the image may be deleted as it has an incorrect FUR.

. I've done it with Inkscape, so it's a .svg image. For the colours, it seems that the image you have loaded has a green much more clear than the original one. That's why when you watch the Wikipedia:Requested pictures/Graphics#Logos & Symbols where I've inserted my result close to yours, you can see a real difference. Tell me what you think of my try and if I should better it. The easier for me is that you write me on the french WP at fr:Discussion Utilisateur:Henry Salomé, I can see it every day, more than the en:WP. Hope you will be satisfied in some time...
