Speedy deletion nomination of We can breathe in space
[edit]A tag has been placed on We can breathe in space requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 03:50, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

- I moved this to the end of your talk page; please add new things at the end.
- Myspace is not a reliable source. Please see user:chzz/vrs for a summary of what is needed - significant coverage, in independent reliable sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Chzz ► 03:49, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

- I see that you've requested help with this several times, but it's not really clear what part you need assistance with. I think right now, the misunderstanding is regarding Wikipedia's notability rules. As a community of editors, we only allow articles on subjects which are notable. For specifics, please carefully read the music notability guidelines, and please point out which numbered guidelines you think this band meets, so we can help you document and prove this in a new draft of the article.
- You can also write an article in your user space, like User:The Partys Started/sandbox, where you will have enough time to write up the article and cite sources without it being deleted right away. For more advice on creating the article, I suggest checking out #4 and #6 at the Your First Article advice page.
- Also, you keep saying "we" in reference to the band. We strongly suggest that you not create articles about yourself or a band you're in, as it can be seen as a conflict of interest. --Darkwind (talk) 06:26, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
"We" is like the acronym when saying the band name instead of having to write "We Can Breathe In Space" every single time. But yes ill try rewrite a new draft and if you or someone could proof read it first before publishing it this time would be appreciated. The Partys Started (talk) 06:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- Once your draft is done, why don't you ask for a review at the Drawing Board or Requests for Feedback. The {{helpme}} is more for specific questions, rather than asking for feedback about a new article. Also, if you want to reply to someone who's answered your helpme request, please put your reply here, and then add the {{talkback}} template to the person's talk page. Using {{helpme}} for conversation isn't a good idea, because there's no guarantee the same person will answer your call for help. --Darkwind (talk) 06:50, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
