I am sorry that your userpage was deleted, and I have now restored it. Cydebot is a bot which implements the decisions made in WP:CFD discussions, and it does a brilliant job, with over 4 million edits in the last 8 years. However, this case seems to have revealed a little bug in cydebot, where it seems to have been confused by the presence of two colons in the name of the category, which made it look like there were two namespaces involved. I will notify the bot owner about this, and hopefully he will be able to fix it. Sorry again for the inconvenience. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:53, 19 January 2014 (UTC) Beleiutz[edit]Hello Terraflorin. Do you have sources that could be added to the page? Thanks, Aristophanes68 (talk) 01:09, 15 September 2014 (UTC) This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of A Nanny for Christmas, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://christmasmovies9.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-nanny-for-christmas.html. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC) Chat[edit]Hello man! I just got a fresh & small vacation as a gift from our friends! Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. On 14 May 2020, You added info to the article Lawrence of Transylvania, which suggests that this nobleman acted as military commander in the Banate of Severin during a Bulgarian invasion in 1259-60. However, my sources say that commander was a namesake contemporary, Lawrence, son of Kemény, so I moved text and two references into that article (I will expand the newly created article soon). During the attack, this Lawrence served as Ban of Severin. Unfortunately, there were four or five Lawrence in those decades, who elevated into royal dignities, and it is difficult to distinguish them. For instance, Lawrence of Transylvania himself later also served as Ban of Severin (in 1263). If your sources might say differently (Fine, Madgearu), please feel free to contact me. Deletion discussion about Kepler-209[edit]Hello, Terraflorin, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Devonian Wombat, and I thank you for your contributions. I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Kepler-209, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:41, 16 September 2024 (UTC) Non-attributed translations[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from fr:En_place to Represent (TV series). While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.
