Collins College

I wrote a lot for this one over a year ago, following the college style guidelines, people with an agenda destroyed it, I'm not interested in doing the work. Too many people want to make wikipedia a place for pursuing agendas or making it a news blog. I had a t one time referenced the College Catalog for the info, but that was deleted. I just fixed some really egregious stuff the other day. I know a new president has been appointed but I don't know who it is, maybe someone else does. Well, it doesn't need to be referenced I assume that its correct. Don't believe that Wikedia encyclopedia should be a news blog though it should include pertinent information that is relevant and well sourced. Don't believe it should just be an extension of a school's advertising either or purely promotional as many of these articles appear to be which is, well, an agenda.Mysteryquest 16:44, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Collins College logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Collins College logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Speedy deletion of Seattle film institute

Thanks, my mistake. Obviously, we'd have very few authoritative links on many topics if we didn't allow links to copyrighted material. Photos and videos uploaded to other sites without the copyright holders' permission are another matter.StevenBradford (talk) 00:42, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
