Since you have a history of editing Seattle articles I thought you might live in Seattle.

I would like to invite you to attend a Wikipedia meetup described on Wikipedia:Meetup/seattlewp. This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 6 March 2012 at 7pm in Café Allegro. Thank you for your attention and I hope to see you there. Blue Rasberry (talk) 00:33, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Xu Xi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chinese (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Controversial additions to Nikola Tesla

[edit]

Hi Steinpal,

I'd like to try to resolve the current conflict on Nikola Tesla. By my count you have added the "genius" statement 5 times, 4 times after it was removed by other editors, without discussion on the Talk page. Why is the addition of this sentence so important? Wikipedia works by consensus, if there is controversy about an edit it should be taken to the Talk page (WP:BRD). Three editors, MrX, Fountains of Bryn Mawr, and myself, have opposed these edits. Our objections are on the Talk page. I'm sure you know that repeated addition of the same content, against consensus, is WP:EDIT WARRING and can get you blocked. Let's talk about this, see if we can reach consensus. I'd like to hear your side. --ChetvornoTALK 01:43, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Chetvorno, I welcome consensus. However, the truth with countless references are provided, and as stated by Ishu and other editors:

There's a fine line between being WP:BOLD and subverting WP:CONSENSUS. Given the history of this topic, I'm hoping that a robust discussion, for the record, would improve the article... Ishu (talk) 13:53, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great. Look forward to your participation on the Talk page before reverting article. --ChetvornoTALK 20:07, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Steinpal, I have left something on your talk page but you somehow deleted it. I am asking you again, why are you keeping Airlines and Destinations section on Kertajati Airport page? Here's your reason for editing: "airport received certifications, official codes, done flight trials, opened special flights (commercial flights soon), schedule confirmed by internal memo". Do you have any proof of those flights will be started right on June 1? Have you heard the news that saying once Kertajati Airport is opened, Husein Sastranegara Airport will still be operated? I thought Wikipedia doesn't accept coming soon destinations especially without strong references. And do you know that some of your destinations and statistics are wrong? I will tell you what wrong: First, XpressAir has closed Bandung-Bandar Lampung, XpressAir Bandung-Padang frequency is not 7x per week, it's only 4x per week. And again, Cathay Bandung-Hong Kong hasn't been opened and there hasn't official news from Cathay. Do you think it's acceptable to write Hong Kong flights 7x per week, while it hasn't been opened and you don't even distinguish it from other existing international destinations? You were angry when I said that you wrote fiction, but you forced me to do so. I didn't say like that at the beginning, but you keep doing it. And do you know why are some people don't believe in Wikipedia information? It's because there is so many wrong information yet there's no strong reference/proof. Why can't you just wait until Kertajati Airport officially opened and we will see what destinations it will have and how many flights per week at this airport. I'd like to give you a comparison, Samarinda International Airport is in the same condition with Kertajati Airport. In fact, all the news saying that New Samarinda Airport will be replaced the old Temindung Airport. Meanwhile, there's so many news saying that once Kertajati Airport is opened, Husein Sastranegara Airport will still be opened as usual. But we don't write Airlines and Destination section at Samarinda International Airport like you did, we just do it very simple, write all the planned airlines in one column and all planned destinations in another column. We don't write it's statistics, because we don't write something unclear, we just wait until the airport is officially opened. Can't you just do the same? Let's make Wikipedia become a much reliable information than just a bunch of untrusted information. People need trusted information. AirEnthusiast (talk) 1:10, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
