Political Pensioner
[edit]Hi! Why did you revert the change that was made in Colonial section of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_pensioner . There is no reference. It seems like primary research, not allowed on Wikipedia. I already gave an explanation why that whole text was deleted. Seomelono (talk) 18:34, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
No edit summary was there so I revert it

Disambiguation link notification for June 15
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ikshvaku, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nimi. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:09, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Sarvatata you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Attempted reversal of GA nomination closure
[edit]Srimant ROSHAN, your nomination of Sarvatata to be a Good Article was failed yesterday for a very good reason: the article not only does not meet the criteria for a GA by a wide margin, it is currently barely a Start-class article. (See Wikipedia:Content assessment for the various article class levels and what their quality should be.) The reviewer properly closed your nomination as unsuccessful, and it is inappropriate for you to renominate it at this point, especially given the very minor edits that you made in the past hour. I have restored the Talk:Sarvatata page to reflect that closure. Please do not try to renominate the article at this time; instead, familiarize yourself with the assessment levels and also check out actual Good Articles on similar topics to see what is needed for an article to qualify. Thank you very much. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:29, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, I am the reviewer who failed this article. Please see Talk:Sarvatata/GA1 for comments and a detailed review as to why it failed. Please note that if you renominate the article again without addressing any of these comments, it will be failed straight away. >> Lil-unique1 (talk) — 09:25, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sarvatata until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Srimant ROSHAN! Your additions to Jambhul Aakhyan have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:33, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Can you explain why the article failed in the first and the third criteria? Srimant ROSHAN (talk) 10:56, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hello - I'm not the reviewer, but according to the good article criteria, a good article should be well-written and broad in its coverage. Your article seems to be missing a lot about his life and his work. I recommend looking at similar GAs for reference. If you have more questions, feel free to ask in the Teahouse. Good luck! Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
- Ratnahastin (talk) 05:57, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |
- Ratnahastin (talk) 05:57, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry! My bad but as you can see in any of the inscription of paramaras of malwa they don't mention or associate themselves with any community rather they only say kshtriya which was common to the ruling family of that time. Srimant ROSHAN (talk) 06:04, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- We go by what the reliable sources say. If reliable sources, especially scholarly ones are saying that Parmaras were Rajputs then we only mention that. - Ratnahastin (talk) 10:09, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
