[edit]Looks like it worked to me. I can't find that any of your user pages were ever deleted.
User pages are different from article pages in that their titles contain the prefix "User:". Similarly, Wikipedia pages (policy, standards, community, etc.) are preceded by "Wikipedia:" or even "Help:". - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 15:26, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2
[edit]A tag has been placed on Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ridernyc (talk) 00:43, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
hello, I was tagged for speedy deletion (b/c of an article being too short: a stub) but all I am trying to do is create a customized wikipedia signature. I read that I should create a user page/ sub-page to do this. Just learning the ropes. Please let me know what I should have done differently to create this custom signature and not have the sub-page deleted. Thanks you. (see: User:Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2) actually looks like you have already deleted it. Please advise. I don't feel like spending another hour relearning and doing it all over again. Thanks. --SkyChild (talk) 00:49, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

- You need to change your settings to this {{subst:User:Skychildandsonofthesun/Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2}} Ridernyc (talk) 05:22, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks Ridernyc. When I go to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Preferences&success I input the tag you have given me {{subst:User:Skychildandsonofthesun/Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2}} and I have left the sign the name exactly as shown box unchecked. When i hit save, it only repeats this code-language back to me in the preview field (as well as when I insert signature into my posts) rather than showing my customized signature. --{{subst:User:Skychildandsonofthesun/Skychildandsonofthesun/sig2}} (talk) 13:13, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Hey there Skychildandsonofthesun, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free images are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some images that I found on User:Skychildandsonofthesun. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use images to your user-space drafts or your talk page. See a log of images removed today here, shutoff the bot here and report errors here. Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 22:37, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
My apologies dash-bot. I am ridiculously alert to rights-management issues and would never knowingly use something not approved by wiki commons. I found the image in the wikki commons images (i never import outside images for this precise reason in fact) and so thought it had been approved. Feel free to take down and I'll have to redo my user page when I have the time. -- Contributions/Skychildandsonofthesun SKYchild 16:51, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Matte-babel.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Matte-babel.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Wai H. Tsang, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Cortex and Nexus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:30, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Wai H. Tsang
[edit]The article Wai H. Tsang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references failed to find significant coverage in reliable sources to comply with notability requirements. This included web searches for news coverage, books, and journals, which can be seen from the following links:
Wai H. Tsang – news, books, scholar
Consequently, this article is about a subject that appears to lack sufficient notability. Please see the plain-language summary of our notability guidelines.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gabbe (talk) 21:09, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of house, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://answerparty.com/question/answer/how-are-music-and-art-related.
Go read this shameful article [[1]]. It rips public sources and welds it together as awkwardly as only a bot can do. utter garbage. So bugger off bot. Nothing to see here (you wanker).
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. CorenSearchBot: you have the order reversed. This article was authored by me originally a number of years ago. I created all the content myself based on my research. Then subsequent to my creation of this article the web page http://answerparty.com/question/answer/how-are-music-and-art-related was created. They copied information from my article verbatim. Which I way I think either a robot wrote that page or even a lazy human just copied and pasted the content. But trust me, it was Wikipedia content first entirely written by me. Thanks.
