hi Teahouse, i have made changes and added complete refernces which as wiki source itself. Can you confirm if they are fine and how to align them in "References" thnx ****
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Steeve Austin, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Simplified Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 12:23, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

hi KGirlTrucker81, I have created new page with proper sources, can you please check and confirm? also tell me how to keep them at bottom of page ( "References" )
- For the technical question on how to properly cite references, see WP:Referencing for beginners. However, I'd advise you to also take a look at WP:Identifying reliable sources (those were not proper sources!) and WP:Autobiography - writing about yourself on Wikipedia is not a good idea since it's very difficult to maintain a neutral point of view when writing about oneself. hi Melcous, thanks. the page is not about me, its about my client and I have entered all reliable references ( they are wiki links and proper articles ) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Steeve Austin (talk • contribs) 14:03, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, if that is the case then there are two important issues you need to clarify. If you are being paid to edit wikipedia for your client then you must declare this and follow the guidelines for paid editing - please read WP:PAID. Secondly, if you are not Steeve Austin then that should not be your username, please read WP:REALNAME and then consider changing your account name. Thank you, Melcous (talk) 14:09, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
Hello, Steeve Austin. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Steeve Austin, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Steeve Austin to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.
If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.
Thanks,
Cordless Larry (talk) 12:23, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- Can you check it now, I have removed the content without references? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Steeve Austin (talk • contribs) 12:52, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- There are no references in the article at all. Cordless Larry (talk) 13:07, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Normal content like name and what one is working, requires reference?
Also How do i Add a reference? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Steeve Austin (talk • contribs) 13:18, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- At WP:Teahouse/Questions you were given a link to Help:Referencing for beginners, as well as to WP:Autobiography and WP:Your first article. And please remember to sign your talk page messages, see #Signature needed on talk pages below. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:28, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, I have only added some information which should not require any reference. About the awards and musicals events, I will add it later & give the required references soon. Steeve Austin (talk) 14:07, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

Signature needed on talk pages
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:04, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Potential conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Steeve Austin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Steeve Austin, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 13:56, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Steeve Austin
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Steeve Austin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I have changed the account name. for paid editing,
The Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use require that editors disclose their "employer, client, and affiliation" with respect to any paid contribution; see WP:PAID. For advice about reviewing paid contributions, see WP:COIRESPONSE. Edits made by the below user(s) were last checked for neutrality on 31-12-2016 by Example. |
needs to be added here, or on my article page at the start?
- Ideally, it should be on your userpage (just click on the User page tab at the top of this page, and create the page using the same code as you did above) Yunshui 雲水 15:26, 17 January 2017 (UTC).
- I would disagree with one detail of the advice from Yunshui above. The template to use on your user page is {{Paid}}, filling in the parameters as appropriate. The template {{Connected contributor (paid)}} is for use on an article talk page. --David Biddulph (talk) 16:18, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

Sam, I need to create a artice(Steev austin) for my client. I should do it soon. What's process? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sachin RB (talk • contribs) 17:17, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
- Please remember to sign your posts. My recommendation would be that you give back to your client whatever money he has paid you for a job that you are unable to do. If he becomes notable in future, someone without a conflict of interest can write an article. He and you both need to realise that Wikipedia does not exist as a means of promotion. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:26, 17 January 2017 (UTC)
