The Million Award is a new initiative to recognize the editors of Wikipedia's most-read content; you can read more about the award and its possible tiers (Quarter Million Award, Half Million Award, and Million Award) at Wikipedia:Million Award. You're also welcome to display this userbox:
If I've made any error in this listing, please don't hesitate to correct it; if for any reason you don't feel you deserve it, please don't hesitate to remove it; if you know of any other editor who merits one of these awards, please don't hesitate to give it; if you yourself deserve another award from any of the three tiers, please don't hesitate to take it!
Sorry to see you're semi-retired, btw, but thanks on behalf of the millions of readers who have benefited, and will continue to benefit, from your work. -- Khazar2 (talk) 03:09, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks!! When I heard (back in December 2012) that the article received 24 million hits in 2012, my hands started shaking! I'm still flabbergasted.. Khazar2, this is very thoughtful of you and I greatly appreciate it! Robin (talk) 13:39, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It's amazing, isn't it? How many other volunteer opportunities give you the chance to serve literally millions of people? Anyway, thank you again for the article, and congrats on this huge achievement. -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:48, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Robin, how are you? I see you're no longer too active on Wikipedia, but I hope you might be able to look in at User talk:Quadell#mirror images. A very odd situation, regarding a new Harrison biography, which … well, it basically rips off Wikipedia's Harrison album and song articles. Strange but true.
What I'm hoping is, you might want to follow the link from Quadell's page and hit "helpful" on my Amazon review for the book – which I've signed as "HariG". In the interests of drawing attention to this issue of an author quite obviously taking his material from Wikipedia – which, the more I think about it, is pretty serious and far-reaching – I'd simply like to ensure that the review is helpful/popular enough to register in the listing's main space. Many thanks. Best, JG66 (talk) 19:59, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't konw if anyone has or I have thanked you for your dedication. Robin, you were simply great! All that time and effort you put into 1D articles was superb. I see that you are not anymore that active but I hope you will still stick around. I dont want to add your name in that list of my userpage. I would like to collaborate with you one more time. I hope to hear from you again some day. Cheers! Thanks for being such a great content creator! Yash!19:44, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the kind words, Yash! I appreciate it :) I will continue to make edits sporadically.. life has just become too busy to promise more than that. All the best, Robin
Just noticed your reply. Glad to see you around even if it is sporadically. You will always be one of the better editors I have known! :) Yash!06:23, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Robin. I noticed you have worked on lots of One Direction articles, and have been semi-retired since August 2013. Because you've made only sporadic edits following your semi-retirement, I've added your name to the above linked page. Remember to remove yourself from the list if you return.
