- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl C or Apple C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl V or Apple V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}
Thank you.
[edit]Hello. Thank you so much for your kind gesture of the barnstar. My first one! It made me smile and made my night. I’m very glad to see other concerned, skeptical Wikipedians and I very much appreciate your thoughtful recognition. ← 𝐋𝐞𝐟𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 03:44, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 21
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Amorality, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Humanity. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ways to improve Tuckamore Youth Treatment Centre
[edit]Hello, RhymeWrens,
Thank you for creating Tuckamore Youth Treatment Centre.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Both of the references are from the heal services or government themselves, and are routine listings of services. It would be really helpful to have additional reference from independent reliable sources that discuss the centre.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

- {{Re|Klbrain}}
- Hi Klbrain and thanks for your suggestions, they helped me understand Wikipedia's notability policies as a beginner editor. I had initially felt that an article for this would be "notable" or important because it is one of the only mental health-focused treatment centres in Newfoundland and Labrador, but I clearly realize now what is required from Wikipedia's notability standards.
- I have added citations to news articles that discuss the centre, as well as to an excerpt of a book which lists the available mental health and addictions rehabilitation facilities in Newfoundland and Labrador. I do hope, from my beginner understanding of the standards for sources, that these are considered reliable and independent secondary sources. Please check these new changes at your convenience and let me know if/when it is okay to remove the tag, thanks.

GA reviewing
[edit]Hi there, I noticed your GAR for Maia arson crimew. It looks like you've got a pretty good handle on the GA criteria. (It's hardly your fault you're not familiar with the ancient articles GAR is intended for triaging.) If you're interested in doing some reviews of your own, there's a newbie-focused backlog drive going on next month: Wikipedia:Good articles/GAN Backlog Drives/July 2024. We'd love to have you! -- asilvering (talk) 01:53, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely be participating in the drive, I had no idea that was going on and I'm actually quite interested in GA reviewing and helping with getting articles assessed so thanks for letting me know. RhymeWrens (talk) 03:54, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
We need YOU!
[edit]Hello RhymeWrens,
I've noticed your contributions and am impressed by your expertise.
On behalf of WikiProject AfD Engagement, I'd like to invite you to join us at Articles for Deletion (AfD).
AfD is a vital process on Wikipedia, but currently, many requests for deletion receive little engagement, meaning that good articles are lost, bad articles may be kept and a diversity of viewpoints isn't heard.
You can visit our simple guide to figure out how to get started.
Even if you can only contribute your opinion to one AfD a week, your input is valued and will help Wikipedia!
If you know an editor who may be willing to help out, please use the template you are currently reading {{subst:AfD Invitation}}
to draw attention to this WikiProject. Diverse viewpoints help to improve our encylopedia!
I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hi RhymeWrens. Thank you for your work on High Zoey. Another editor, MPGuy2824, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

- @MPGuy2824: That's valid, I thought that it was listed under "Also known as" but apparently it's not. I don't know whether it should be added there, "Venturing" is also a side project of hers that's listed there. RhymeWrens (talk) 04:32, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- If you find a good ref for either/both of the side projects, then it makes sense to mention them in the main article. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 05:04, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
