If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:NBA BabyBoy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. A tag has been placed on Nba babyboy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Nba babyboy. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Explanation of deletions

[edit]

Hi! I wanted to explain what's going on with the articles getting nominated for deletion. Ultimately it boils down to coverage in places Wikipedia would consider reliable and would establish notability. This is generally pretty difficult to get, sometimes even for people who are fairly well known on a national or even global scale. It's particularly difficult sometimes for entertainers, as there are typically more people to be covered then there are outlets who would write about them. An example I always give about how difficult it can be to establish notability would be the Internet Personality PewDiePie. He had millions of followers and was one of the most followed channels on YouTube, yet articles on him kept getting removed until after he became the most subscribed person on YouTube. It was just that difficult to establish notability.

I think that it's awesome that you're performing and that you've found a way to express your grief and feelings. That's something that not everyone can do, to put it bluntly, and to do it at your age is even more impressive. I hope that doesn't come across wrong, just that I've lost people in the last 10-15 years and I remember what it was like for me when the feeling was still very fresh. I know I couldn't have put pen to paper and had anything coherent come out, so I'm definitely in awe at that.

I just don't want you to take any of this badly. None of this is meant as a slight, it's just that Wikipedia can be pretty strict with its notability guidelines. I would also recommend being a little careful giving out personal details on the Internet. I know, I know, you've heard this before from others and likely at school as well. I just can't help but to give a little caution on that end. This page goes over the advice given for younger editors on Wikipedia. You may want to look over these training modules as well, they may be helpful in general with editing and such. ReaderofthePack(formerly Tokyogirl79) (。◕‿◕。) 08:28, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:NBA BabyBoy, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
