great edits

[edit]

I had never even heard of Hip hop architecture before this. Great stuff, I plan on researching it and adding more at some point. By the way, in the future please remember to punctuate only the first word (unless there are proper nouns). Peace, --Urthogie 11:02, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Sasa nebaketu 06.jpg)

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Sasa nebaketu 06.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:ESB.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:ESB.jpg, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 10:27, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Earlsbell.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Earlsbell.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Coredesat 04:28, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Earl s bell, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.earlsbell.com/biography.shtml.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:53, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning; the next time you create an inappropriate page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been warned repeatedly across several years not to post copyrighted material. The next copyright violation will result in the immediate loss of your edit privileges. PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:01, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PMDrive1061 what are the issues that one has to contend with regarding the earl s bell article, as the copyright objection by the corensearchbot was addressed. Due to your heavy handedness I want you to state which legitimate objections you have, so I can address them when I resubmit the article. Your hostile nature will be reported directly to the Wikipedia authority if you continue to be unnecessarily overzealous and heavy handed. You stated that across the years I posted copyrighted material, I consider this to be an unproven assertion as i did have permission to post the content. What has been proven today however is your non compassion for new Wikipedia editors trying to learn the system. I am willing to adhere to every strict guideline that Wikipedia has in place but I will not accept unscrupulous rebukes by you. Now I ask you ask, please state your objections if there are any other than supposed copyright infringement and I will comply. I will be reposting the article again that should not trigger any objections from the Corensearchbot, and I expect you not to act in a manner that will result in your administration previliages becoming revoked. I expect you to be prudent in your execution of supposed deletion ability. I elevate our point of contention to a full blown dispute. I will most certainly request arbitration from another admin that has the trust and confidence of the Wikipedia community with compassion for new editors with intentions to follow the rules and regulations of Wikipedia.(User:Neb Aketu) 08:54, 6 June 2011 (EDT)

First off, you are not a new editor. Your entire talk page is filled with warnings regarding the posting of copyrighted material. The bot caught copyrighted material and I have yet to see that bot report a false positive. If you want to resubmit the article, please feel free. Just do it in your own words and all will be fine. Had you not been warned multiple times against copyrighted content, I would not have issued you such a stern warning. Regarding your claim of permission, unless the content is released by the owners in writing to the Foundation, it can't be placed here. One more thing: Next time, try leaving polite word on my talk page if you have a concern before you threaten some sort of retribution. PMDrive1061 (talk) 17:03, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I just went back through the deletion log; you are clearly writing about yourself. I would respectfully suggest that you review this section. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 17:06, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great, thank you for helping me become aware of Wikipedia policy and standards. From this point I think the only plausible solution to this is, you can write the article on Earl S Bell. I'v read other articles that you articulately authored and I think the Earl S. Bell article could use your expertise. Surly the next person that attempts to write an article on Earl S. Bell would find it hard to achieve a similarly high level that you have illustrated in your previously generated articles on Alameda Corridor, Wigwag, and last but not least That Happy Feeling . Could you be so kind to please lend a helping hand ? I as well as others, would surly appreciate your effort Neb Aketu (talk) 20:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tell you what: I will do exactly that and I think it's an excellent idea. I'm taking something of a "wikibreak" at present, but if you'd like, I will be glad to work with you on a proper article when I return, perhaps in a couple of weeks. Other Wikipedians have articles and if we can back your notability with third-party references such as print or other internet coverage, a good article is more than warranted. I honestly loook forward to working with you. Much more productive than fighting.  :) Take care and I'll be in touch. PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:30, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm deeply humbled by your humanity, and I look forward to working with you. I currently have third-party references, all I need now is further direction from you on how to proceed. Ill follow your lead. Neb Aketu (talk) 17:18, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
