Hi there

Hi welcome to Wikipedia, I can see you have an interest in Pennsylvania highways and you're a member of WP:PASH. I could use some help with Pennsylvania Route 145 and its a Feature Article candidate and I'm not a good writer and I need someone to check the history, or it might fail the FAC. Respond at my talk page if you're interested, thank you. -- JA10 T · C 23:33, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Placing a redirect works, but there could be quite some confusion if someone else registered with that name. To avoid problems, I recommend you register that account too, so no one else can register it. It wouldn't be a massive problem, but it'd certainly cause some annoying confusion if it happened. - Mgm|(talk) 09:27, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

NJ County routes

I've uploaded all the shields for Hunterdon and Mercer Counties. If you get a chance and could add them to the lists you created, that'd be great. If not, I'll get around to it this weekend probably. Thanks for all your hard work!! -- NORTH talk 06:00, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for that. :-) -- NORTH talk 21:56, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Issue #4

After a three-month hiatus, the fourth issue of the WP:NJSCR newsletter is out, by me, Mitchazenia. The foruth issue of the WP:NJSCR newsletter celebrates the passing of New Jersey Route 18 for Good Article Status. 18 is only the third NJ-based road to reach that rank with Interstate 295 (Delaware-New Jersey) and Pulaski Skyway being the other 2.

  • A to-do list has been posted on the project page, with a more detailed version at WT:NJSCR#To-do list. The simple version:
    • Ensure that all freeway exit lists are up to exit list guide standards.
    • Make sure all infoboxes have the new maint= parameter.
    • Make sure the straight line diagram is properly referenced in the infobox.
    • Add a major intersections table to each article.

USRD Inactivity check and news report

Hello, Mr. Matté. We had a few urgent matters to communicate to you:

  1. Please update your information at Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Participants, our new centralized participant list. Those who have not done so by October 20th will be removed.
  2. There are important discussions taking place at WT:USRD relating to whether WP:USRD, WP:HWY, or the state projects should hold the "power" in the roads projects.

Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 20:37, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Web browser

Hi. I noticed at Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 136#Problems with images that you had some problems with viewing PNG and SVG images. While disabling some of the JavaScript will work, you will get better results by upgrading your browser. I recommend Firefox, which is a relatively small free download. Firefox will load web pages faster than Internet Explorer and does not have the problems with images that you ran into earlier. It will take about half an hour to download if you are using dial-up. Firefox will import all of your Favorites from Internet Explorer, allowing you to make the switch easily.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. —Remember the dot (talk) 20:03, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

All this time, I thought downloading that would take me days; but it only took me a half hour like you said. Thanks for letting me know and I'm already enjoying the features of it!

Mr. Matté 21:33, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

You're welcome! I'm glad to help, and I'll be here to answer any questions you may have about Firefox. —Remember the dot (talk) 22:10, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Turnpike Exit Userbox

Hey I stumbled upon your page and noticed the Turnkpike Exit Userbox. I was wondering if you can point me in the direction of where you found that? I thought that was really cool.

(I'm exit 15W by the way)

--Endless Dan 12:15, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

I created it myself, using WP:UBX as a guide. For the record, you don't necessarily have to have the Turnpike; for example, you can put in the second slot [[Interstate 280 (New Jersey)|I-280]] and "I-280" will show up.
Mr. Matté 18:50, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of United States gubernatorial elections, 1990, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.prescriptiondrug-info.com/drug_information_online.asp?title=United_States_gubernatorial_elections,_1990. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

It's not a mirror as such; it's a dodgy internet drug retailer embedding WP content for SEO reasons. I de-tagged and de-listed. CIreland 22:10, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
All right, then; thanks for that!
