- Remember to sign your posts
- Please read the guidelines on WP:TALK. I just spent an hour reformatting your conversation on the Sungenis article so that it's comprehensible.
- Use multiple : characters to designate reply-level. When you start a new section, no need to indent. When the conversation is strictly back-and-forth between two people, alternate indent levels. Otherwise, always increase indent levels.
- When you interrupt someone else's post, use {{interrupted|editor-name}}. That helps knowing that the previous comment is "attached" to a continuation below.
- There is a section in the above link that deals with editing your own posts. My best advice is: Hit the "preview" button until you're sure it's ready.
Thanks again :) Otheus 10:33, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Well done!
[edit]Well done, Liam, on learning to use the : indentation. It's making things a whole lot easier to navigate. Otheus 10:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- :-) I'm trying to learn the "rules" as to to how this works, Otheus. There's a lot to it...thanks.
Time
[edit]Liam, I'm on MET time, which is currently 2 ahead of GMT. It's close to my bedtime, but I assure you, I will respond before I go to work tomorrow. Otheus 20:17, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you, Otheus.
Done refactoring for now. Please comment on my refactoring in the space below. If we agree on the work so far, we can start distilling the argument to its salient points, and then move to an RFC -- where other, more experienced editors will comment on the issued. Otheus 17:56, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
