Speedy deletion nomination of Nevada Romo
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nevada Romo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – Broccoli & Coffee (Oh hai) 22:44, 16 July 2018 (UTC)

Navbox help

You know it's not the responsibility of people who make articles to add them to a navbox. Also, that template tag you've added now appears on all articles where the template is transcluded. Aloneinthewild (talk) 17:32, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

There is nothing to reference right now in List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States, August 2018. It's merely an introductory sentence that summarizes things. Once there actually are people listed on it, then you can tag it for being poorly referenced. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 01:26, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
The page has been updated with three events now. 'Speedy deletion' and 'single reference' objections should be removed. (It has been less than 24 hours for these killings; more sources will become available.) -- User talk: PeteGaughan; 16:20, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, the page should be redirected until there is at least one incident. @PeteGaughan:, there can be more than one reference per incident, hence the {{1r}} tag. --Jax 0677 (talk) 16:41, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
Ways to improve The Road & the Rodeo
Hi, I'm Doomsdayer520. Jax 0677, thanks for creating The Road & the Rodeo!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for creating the article for the album "The Road & the Rodeo". Please consider expanding the article with information found in the sources that you have already used, plus additional reviews if available.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

The Road & the Rodeo doesn't seem to meet WP:NALBUMS. Per the sources you put in the article:
This source is more about Watson himself and only dedicates one sentence to the album.
This source was self-published by a radio station and is not a reliable source.
This source is paywalled so I can't tell if it even mentions the album at all. But the title suggests that it's more about him than about the album.
The Artist Direct link is also broken and redirects to the home page.
I have been topic-banned from AFD for the time being, so I am not allowed to take it to AFD. While the album did chart, there is nothing out there on the album other than Roughstock's review. Hell, I can't even find a producer credit for it, it's that obscure.
That said, I have a compromise in mind. What would you think of moving the discography to Aaron Watson discography and, for every album prior to Real Good Time, putting the tracklistings in the table like I've done below? Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 23:15, 2 August 2018 (UTC)

- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, one sentence is enough. A radio station can be a reliable source. The abqjournal tells under which label the album was released. The Artist Direct link worked at the time it was created. The roughstock review is substantive. The allmusic review is substantive. I am reverting your change, which you should not have done per WP:BRD. If the article should not remain, then someone else will take it to AFD. Redirecting the article twice could be perceived as a way of skirting around {{speedy}}, {{PROD}} or AFD. IMO, at this time, the discography section is not long enough to split off. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:10, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
- I cleaned it up with the sources from Roughstock and Allmusic. A radio station is not a reliable source since the page in question was published by the station's own DJs; see WP:SPS. I am now satisfied that the article has just enough content per the Roughstock and Allmusic reviews. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 16:31, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Laura Bell Bundy
On Laura Bell Bundy, one single sentence being unsourced does not warrant the {{refimprove}} tag. If you still had an issue with "That's What Angels Do" being unsourced, then use your old friend {{Citation needed}} instead. That said, I have added a source verifying it as a single. Thanks for uploading File:Kenexa Corporation Logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Problems with a page I edited
Hello
I used to work for the Clive Lewis on the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clive_Lewis_(business_psychologist) and I set up the page for him. I have not been an editor on Wikipedia before so was not familiar with the conflict of interest rules - I of course understand completely and even in my unawareness of the rules, endeavoured to make the page as objective as possible.
Nonetheless, there is a message on the page now that shows there are problems with NPOV (which I have just read up on). My former employer has reached back to me to find out if anything can be done about this. My gut is no, but if there is anything that can be done - can someone else fact check and edit the article perhaps? - please do let me know.
I do not want to do anything else that is contrary to Wikipedia's rules, I totally respect the reasoning behind them, and I'm not particularly interested in being an editor in the future. I would just like to have a concrete answer.
Many thanks Amber

You may visit WP:COI for more information. You are welcome to remove incorrect information or visit WP:BLPN, but you should not add information for topics about which you have a conflict of interest. I also do not want you to think that my answer is concrete, so you are also welcome to request additional answers at WP:HD. Does this help? --Jax 0677 (talk) 13:31, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

Nikki Yanofsky
Sorry, I went kind of overboard there. Labels never need citations, I've said that before. Still, good call on bringing the discography to attention, since it did contain a lot of questionable content (the "Canadian Jazz" chart doesn't seem to actually exist, and I got no google hits for some of the songs she supposedly released). If only one part of an article lacking sources, such as Jamie Lee Curtis, please use {{refimprove-section}} or {{unreferenced-section}} on just that section. Don't put a {{refimprove}} all the way at the top. Because you put it at the top, I scrolled almost all the way down and didn't see anything that was lacking in sources. Also, filmographies are usually summaries of content that is verified in other articles, so they don't need super extensive citations. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 14:11, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, per User_talk:Jax_0677/Archive_15#My_proposed_guidelines_for_tagging, I might get complaints if I use too many tags. Besides, the lead section has few references. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:44, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- @Jax 0677: The leads of articles generally don't need references, because they are summarizing key points that are verified elsewhere in the article. As an introduction, it doesn't need to repeat citations for content already cited in the article proper. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 21:52, 13 October 2018 (UTC)

Maddie & Tae
Exactly what was unsourced on Maddie & Tae? Please, if something is unsourced, use {{refimprove-section}}. Just slapping a {{refimprove}} at the top when there is nothing immediately obvious in need of sourcing is unhelpful. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 14:15, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, "Friends Don't", Tours and Awards. When doing document revisions, people use the term "Extensively Revised" for documents on which there are too many corrections. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:48, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Nuthin' 2 Prove
On Nuthin' 2 Prove, there is literally not a single sentence that is unsourced. Exactly how can more sources be added if there is literally zero unsourced content? Also, the album is only two days away from release. If the release date is less than a week away, then give it a chance to build up the notability (see WP:CHANCE). Album and song project template shortcuts
Please look at all these fabulous uses of shortcuts available for WikiProject Albums and WikiProject Songs project tagging, and not a one creates a nonsensical, never-before-existing term for albums or songs. They actually all use the letters needed to spell ALBUM or to spell SONG. 4-letter and 5-letter words do not need further abbreviating to one-less-letter shortcuts that don't even make sense. If only one section is lacking in sources, as is the case on Thompson Square, don't put the {{ R}} at the top of the article. Poor judgment
Your template is unhelpful and does absolutely nothing to diffuse the situation. Your edit warring to restore the unhelpful and unneeded template using an all caps summary is equally ill advised. You can't teach nuance. -- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 22:22, 20 November 2018 (UTC)

A message was left at User talk:Lurking shadow with the subject line "What the hell are you doing", which in my opinion violates WP:CIVIL, so I was in my right to leave {{uw-npa1}} on the page of the user who left the message. The message should probably not have been removed by users other than Beyond My Ken. Once Beyond My Ken told me to stop leaving the "NPA" message, I stopped leaving the "NPA" message on their page, and I have no intention of leaving the "NPA" message on their page in the future. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:01, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

- Reply - @Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars:, do you pay any attention to the things that I write on here? At the following discussion, I specifically told you why not all of the articles have the navbox on them right away. Please pay better attention in the future, so I do not have to repeat myself. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:57, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Your continued excuses fall on deaf ears. If only there was some previous discussion regarding your behavior with templates. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 19:01, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars:, that was in 2013. At User talk:Jax 0677/Archive 5, Op47 said "No one is complaining (as far as I know) if you have to stop work for the night". On a large navigation box, all of the articles will not be added instantaneously. --Jax 0677 (talk) 16:59, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- This one isn't a large navigation box. I would think copying and pasting into articles would be easier than creating the navbox itself, and doing whatever's easier is right down your alley. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:43, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars:, the navbox is now on all applicable pages. The navboxes that I have done in recent years have made it on to most if not all applicable pages in due time. As I said before, working on a large navigation box without doing other things in between steps on such navboxes becomes monotonous, try it some time. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:24, 5 December 2018 (UTC)

I see that you are asking whether the name of the article should be changed. Do you have a reliable source that indicates that such a change has taken place? Could you also refrain from pursuing this in multiple places. The talk page of the article is your starting point here. Britmax (talk) 17:06, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @Britmax:, the Zodiac Aerospace internet site and this Gainesville Register article are two sources that indicate the name change. Please link the site in question when you post on someone's talk page. --Jax 0677 (talk) 17:52, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

Please read templates
Hello Jax! Please read templates before adding them to articles such as your edit here. It uses the plural "URLs" whereas the article had one bare URL. It also calls into question your critical thinking skills if you use two edits to add the wrong tag rather than fixing the problem. Thank you and have a nice day! Killiondude (talk) 00:08, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @Killiondude:, I was on a phone when I added the {{LR}} tag, so it is difficult to fix the links. It is not a big deal if I add that tag to an article with one bare URL, as the problem has been fixed on many occasions. --Jax 0677 (talk) 03:00, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
Reminder
Jax, I believe I've brought this up with you previously, but I'll ask again: can you please not make redirects unless they are mentioned at the target article? This can be seen as WP:OR because it's not referenced or backed up by anything at the target article, so these can be speedily deleted for being implausible namespaces. You created about six or seven of these today but the titles are nowhere to be found at the articles you've pointed them to. Ss112 06:43, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
- I nominated the redirects you created for deletion. Maybe instead of asking Anthony Appleyard why, you could instead put that effort into actually mentioning the names at the target articles with sources? I'll nominate them at RfD if you don't think it's worth your time to bother. Ss112 02:18, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @Ss112:, I will do my best to remember in the future. --Jax 0677 (talk) 03:03, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

Brett Young (singer)
On articles about living people, such as Brett Young (singer), please use {{blp sources}} and not {{refimprove}}. This also applies to groups and bands that are currently active. That said, I did source all of the music videos and awards, which seemed to be the only unsourced sections. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 18:14, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, does it really matter whether I use {{b }} or {{ r}}? --Jax 0677 (talk) 21:38, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- Because it populates the category Category:BLP articles lacking sources, allowing people to find and improve the article if they're seeking specifically to improve articles on people. Also, Wikipedia is stricter on information about people than it is about anything else as per WP:BLP. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 23:35, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
- Reply - @TenPoundHammer:, if you want me to use {{B }} instead of {{ R}}, I suggest that you vote in favor of keeping the former. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:08, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- Try using {{BLP }} if you insist on shortcuts. {{B }} by itself is ambiguous (to be fair, I find {{R }} kind of iffy too, but it's stood for 4 years). Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 02:49, 12 December 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nikki Stringfield, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Femme Fatale (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thanks for creating History of Amazon.
I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Thanks for developing the new article on the History of Amazon. I wonder if this article now makes the related Timeline of Amazon.com obsolete. Have you considered merging the two, or calling for the timeline article to be deleted as redundant?

Tag bombing
Please stop tag bombing these pointless, misused and misplaced tags onto articles. Either fix the problem yourself if it's so bad, stop creating this problem by not checking after your own edits, and stop edit-warring over other editors who are trying to clean up your mess. "I'm on a phone" is not an excuse. WP:COMPETENCE still applies – if you can't edit properly, don't do it on that device. Andy Dingley (talk) 01:30, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
January 2019
Your recent editing history at Amazon (company) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Andy Dingley (talk) 01:31, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at On This Holiday, you may be blocked from editing. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:30, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Reply - @AngusWOOF:, sorry about my error. I just found out about the discussion, but there are plenty of reviews out there for this article. May I have some time to expand the article here, or perhaps at Jessie James Decker? --Jax 0677 (talk) 02:41, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Don't bother expanding the article from the redirect. I would only mention a little bit more at Decker's article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:49, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Reply - @AngusWOOF:, because your requests to redirect the article were denied, I have reinstated the article. I am happy to have an AFD discussion so that the wider community can be involved in the decision. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:05, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- It just pisses me off that there's been weeks, even months, of MFD'ing to clean out that mess of an article, all to be undone because salting at the mainspace was not done, and that the reinstatement was done in a "screw you and your process" way. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 15:17, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Reply - @AngusWOOF:, "The album may be notable (the artist is notable), but this draft is now at the point where it needs to be blown up and started over". - If you can turn it into a useful notable article, then that'd be great. The previous versions were very poor and were persistently resubmitted, written by fans with no sense of notability. Maybe you can put a note on the talk page that you've WP:TNT'ed the article and are rebuilding it from scratch? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:36, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
- Reply - @AngusWOOF:, three reviews, a few tour announcements and Billboard charts. I think that should suffice. --Jax 0677 (talk) 16:39, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
