Chavacano

[edit]

I can't speak Chavacano, however I based my revert in the very content of the page. Check the section Nouns and Articles. Be careful, don't think of Chavacano as Spanish with some strange words, but rather as a completely different language with lots of Spanish words. I know being reverted feels bad, I hope you will understand. Another question: I think it's better to use, in cases like this one, the Chavacano talk page and not the personal one; in that way more people can have a say, including perhaps someone who can speak the language. Best regards. --Jotamar (talk) 17:00, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Except that it's talking about Spanish speakers, so the phrase must be Spanish and not Chavacano --Ismael Luceno (talk) 17:42, 16 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You were right, how embarrassing! The expression lenguaje de parian just by its side confused me, what could it mean? --Jotamar (talk) 15:49, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It refers to a region of Manila: Parián de Arroceros.
