Auckland meetup
[edit]We're having a meetup in just over a week - see this page if you're interested in coming. Richard001 (talk) 09:29, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
- I think that sounds fun. HowiAuckland (talk) 03:33, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- Watches your page* What's this guy's user name? I can't find any user by that name or with that name on their user page. Is he a PhD student too? Maybe you could just tell him about it yourself? Richard001 (talk) 09:09, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- His name user name is Matthew Auger with a space between his first name and second name. The only reason I am asking you is because I thought it would be nice if he was invited if you don't mind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Matthew_Auger If you click on user contributions then you can see what he's done. The book by Titchmarsh
[edit]Hi, this is pma's ghost speaking. Here's the reference: The theory of functions, by E. C. Titchmarsh, Oxford Science Publications: [1]. Cheers! --84.220.118.41 (talk) 09:06, 3 October 2009 (UTC).
muchos gracias :) HowiAuckland (talk) 10:15, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
I just found and got that book out of the library. No mention (I also did a search using Google books) of binomial theorem or proof with Complex numbers. I am particularly interested in the general question of convergence for (x y)^r where x,y and r are complex numbers. The Wikipedia page on Binomial Theorem has some mention there, but I found not found a full proof. HowiAuckland (talk) 01:48, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
