{{help me}} Hi,

I am trying to create this article about the FuturICT porject. The last time i submitted, i was told to create a new account/username to post under, as there was a conflict of interest if i posted as FuturICT.

I have created a new login (Kieran Giller), and so wish to delete this account and this entry for FuturICT, and create a new version using login Kieran Giller.

Can you help me get this article published. I have tried to change the language and include links and references etc. All of the reference material can be found on the ebsite (futurict.eu) and its difficult to have specific references in the text as it would just be repeated for each paragraph.

Thanks you — Preceding unsigned comment added by FuturICT (talkcontribs) 15:02, 27 October 2011‎

Accounts can't be deleted. We need to keep a record of contributions, for several reasons. Just abandon this account, and use the new one.
The draft article looks rather promotional to me. It would, in my opinion, need very substantial rewriting to become suitable as an article. In fact you were lucky to be blocked by an administrator who allowed you to create a new account: many would have hard blocked you, preventing account creation, as a promotional account. Since you are clearly closely involved in the subject you have written about you have a conflict of interest, and really should not be writing it.
I am leaving the "helpme" template in place, as someone else may be able to be more helpful. However, you should not be using this account at all, not even to ask for help. You should use the new one. JamesBWatson (talk) 17:32, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed - please phrase any questions at your new user talk page. The only valid edit you can do here now, is to subtitute the entire page contents with {{retired}}. For your new article you may request feedback at WP:RFF  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:05, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:25, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
