Robert Thomas (kickboxer) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Robert Thomas (kickboxer), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 17:57, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Robert Thomas (kickboxer) (2) (December 10)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by K.e.coffman was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Sourcing is in passing, WP:PRIMARY and / or WP:SPIP.

TheRichest.com as a source

[edit]

Hi Eerie Holiday. I noticed that you recently used therichest.com as a source for biographical information in Christian Cage. Please note that the general consensus as expressed at WP:RSN is that therichest.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks.--Ronz (talk) 16:58, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your comment on my talk page:
I'm not sure what's unclear about the comment above. I'm happy to elaborate if you'd give me some idea of what to focus on.
Basically, this website shouldn't be used in Wikipedia at all, but especially not where high-quality sources are required, such as for biographical information. The website does little if anything other than churn news, obscuring where they're getting information. --Ronz (talk) 17:30, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm STATicVapor. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you unlinked one or more redlinks from Scott Steiner. Often redlinks can be helpful, so we don't remove them just because they are red. They help improve Wikipedia by attracting editors to create needed articles.

In addition, clicking on the "What links here" special link (in the Wikipedia Toolbox at left) on a missing article shows how many—and which—articles depend on that article being created. This can help prioritize article creation. Redlinks are useful! Please, only remove a redlink if you are pretty sure that it is to a non-notable topic and not likely ever to be created. Thanks! Updating league standings

[edit]

I appreciate you trying to be helpful and updating the league standings at 2019–20 NBA G League season, however, you are not accounting for the other 26 teams. By updating the results of a single game on Feb 6, and not updating the results of the other many games on the 3-6 (of which there were 16 others played in that span), you are making every other record incorrect per the As of date (as needed by MOS:DATED). A full update looks like this, note how all teams get updated. Not doing so means stats like Games Behind are incorrect in your edits. I only update on Mondays because that is all I really have time, but if wish to help by keeping it more up to date, I welcome it. But please, do not just update one team. Yosemiter (talk) 15:58, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to refrain from making further comments at the discussion, it's getting a bit drawn out and I'm not sure if deletion discussions are supposed to be such a lengthy back-and-forth as we've both (mostly me) made it lol we've both stated our positions on the matter in enough detail there. I'd be happy to reply here to your last comment, just as a matter of healthy debate. It appears the category may be kept through no consensus anyway due to a stalker following me there (hey you ;)). Regardless of the outcome, I think some kind of category for interim world champions would be a worthy one (even though I hate the title) if you're bored and have any free time. I'd do it myself but I'm only really interested in creating BLPs and the occasional list.2.O.Boxing 00:53, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all the work you did turning The OGK from a redirect into an article. Good job! Don't be surprised, though, if someone comes along one day and suggests merging it with The Kingdom. Don't worry: It won't be me. Thanks again!SpikeToronto 14:18, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please, don't include Mack as XPW Champion. The official website [2] indicates that the tournament winner is Cage, not Mack. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:33, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AEW St. Patrick's Day Slam moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, AEW St. Patrick's Day Slam, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. An article you recently created, Championships in Impact Wrestling, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hi. The lead is well sourced, but the problem lies with each of the tables below the lead, all of which is unreferenced. If they are all taken from a single source, that's okay, but they should be footnoted to show that. Onel5969 TT me 19:44, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Onel5969: I based the formatting of the page from World championships in WWE also how do I go about footnoting to show the source for the tables. Eerie Holiday (talk) 21:36, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you give me the source for those tables, I'll add it for you. And yes, the other page also is inadequately footnoted. Onel5969 TT me 22:24, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
