Farmersville

[edit]

On another talk page, you ask what township Farmersville is in. I can't email you, but if you email me, I'd be happy to provide you with the *exact* address of the individual concerned. I don't think it'd be fair to his family to post it here. They didn't do anything wrong.

According to a local poll taken last week, folks here believe he didn't do anything wrong, either, by a margin of 80% to 18%. It's a rural community where there is no privacy, and both he and his family have reputations anyone should be proud of. I don't know him personally, but I agree with the majority, by the way. A leopard doesn't change his spots, and an acorn doesn't fall far from the oak. Could it have happened without his knowledge? I don't know. But I'm pretty sure he didn't consent to it. Hi, Clair. I admit, hey, I don't know. It's just the proof seems so badly stacked against him. But like you imply, many things could have happened. Who knows for sure. Seems like no one at this point. I'm actually not trying to get in contact with him or his loved ones. I'm just a plain old geography nerd. And I know two people from that county. And with Farmersville not being a municipality of its own, but rather a part of a twp., it's just hard to locate on some maps. But I do have a good answer because of you or some other wikipedian, and I do appreciate it. Cheers. :) --Coryma 02:33, 17 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2007 MLS SuperDraft

[edit]

Hi. I saw you left a comment on the MLS SuperDraft discussion page asking about the 2007 draft. I just put up the page for the 2007 MLS SuperDraft, so you can check out the order and stuff. Draft is this Friday. Bigdottawa 06:09, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

James Milner Career section

[edit]

Not really asking for full feedback on this article (although I wouldn’t mind it). I’d just like to know what you feel the best way the divide up the Career section is, by Club, by season, not at all or some other way. Please leave your reply under the section in my talk page named “Milner Career section”. Buc 16:37, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Invite to the African Destubathon

[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
