Redirect of Independant state of australia
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Independant state of australia, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Independant state of australia is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Independant state of australia, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Comte0! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Denise Fabre - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

[edit]Hi Comte, thank you for your input at the AfD on this article. One of the problems here is the entry in no way reflects the notability of this individual. I think one of the strongest points in his favor is (assuming the editor who made this claim is correct) his status as the #1 contributor in total edits to the kernel over the past five years. Well-sourced claims like this in the entry would certainly prevent the article from being deleted.

Your contributed article, Hannibal crossing the Alps
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Hannibal crossing the Alps. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Hannibal. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Hannibal - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Prestonmag (talk) 20:35, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
Hello ! I prefer write in french.
-90.3.160.12 (talk) 19:00, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of "signal square"
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on "signal square" requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. CHOQ-FM
[edit]Just to clarify, I've had to undo your recent move of CHOQ-FM to CHOQ.FM — the one with the hyphen is an FM radio station in Toronto, Ontario, while the one with the dot is a closed circuit station in Montreal, Quebec, and the web URL you listed in your edit summary is for the one in Montreal. The one in Montreal may or may not qualify for its own article depending on the availability of reliable sources about it, but it's completely separate from the one in Toronto (they're not even affiliated with each other). So it would involve starting a new article about the Montreal station, not moving the Toronto station to a different title. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 05:41, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Bonjour Comte0,

Another article contributed, thanks Victuallers (talk) 18:03, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
The article Aufklärungsgruppe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Wikipedia is not a dictionary. See WP:DICTIONARY
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Inks.LWC (talk) 08:59, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Alhambra-Maurice Chevallier
[edit]Hi Comte I am working on an English version of the theatre Alhambra-Maurice Chevallier. It is very difficult. You may not have seen my note here. But before spending much time on it, glance at the French version here and tell me your opinion:
- Is it too long?
- Is such historical detail useful in Wikipedia?
It is wonderful to have some help in French translation. But I suspect that there may be other articles that are more worthwhile than this one. However, if you think my translation so far is good, advise me how to proceed. Merci beaucoup. —Foobarnix (talk) 12:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Paris/Orly to Paris/Charles de Gaulle
[edit]Thank you for responding to my question at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject France/Paris. I took your advice and went with Orlyval to Antony and then with RER B to Charles de Gaulle terminal 2. My uncle gave me an unused ticket from Paris centre to Charles de Gaulle, I bought a ticket from Orly to Paris centre at Orly. Everything went smoothly. The Orlyval trip took about five minutes, the RER B trip took about an hour and five minutes. The tickets worked OK. At Charles de Gaulle I had to wait for 45 minutes to be checked in, then when I got through security check I had half an hour to spare before my flight back home to Finland left. Even though I tried to hurry when leaving Orly and arriving at Charles de Gaulle there was no real reason to hurry. I had planned in advance and not taken any cargo baggage, only hand baggage. In this case three hours and 25 minutes (my flight from Nice arrived at 12:00, my flight to Finland left at 15:25) is plenty of time to get from Orly to Charles de Gaulle. JIP | Talk 18:19, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
- You're welcome, I'm glad everything went well. Also, not carrying suitcases was a smart idea, it saves some time after landing at Orly and before takeoff at Roissy. Regards, Comte0 (talk) 13:55, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sausage Software
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sausage Software requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Disambiguation link notification for December 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited La Belle Dame sans Merci, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phillip Roth (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Hello, I'm MrX. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Write Away, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Speedy deletion nomination of Affective Norms for English Words
[edit]Hello Comte0,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Affective Norms for English Words for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Comments at Talk:Sciences Po
[edit]Hi, Comte0, and thanks for your response at Talk:Sciences Po. Good point about what they did at fr-wiki, I wasn't aware of that! Due to an error on my part, your comment is in the wrong place. Would you mind very much moving, or re-posting your comment into the #Survey section lower down? My apologies: I hadn't gotten around yet to creating a "Survey" section header before you replied, and your response is looking a little forlorn at the end of the "References" section, where it might get missed. I didn't want to move your comments myself per WP:TPO restrictions, but you are certainly free to move your own comment (or to restate it as a vote). If you do decide to move it, I think it would be okay to just do that since it's your own words, but if you want to adhere strictly to the requirements of WP:TPO, then the way to do that is to strike your previous comments, perhaps adding an explanatory post-script such as, "See survey section below" or "Moved to Survey", and then just add whatever you want to the Survey. Sorry for the hassle, and thanks again, Mathglot (talk) 08:31, 29 October 2018 (UTC)

Please try to write more than just minimal articles like this, that just say she won an award but use the information in the references to show the importance. . The O'Reilly articles shows her as responsible for the development of a major product at one company, and the Forbes, for being senior director of engineering at a fairly important firm. I almost listed it for deletion, for the award is relatively minor. I'm still not sure sh'e notable, but there's at least a reasonable chance. If you don't have time to do more than this at first, it's safer to do it in Draft space. DGG ( talk ) 07:22, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
Tamar Bercovici moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Tamar Bercovici, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Tamar Bercovici
[edit]Hello, Comte0. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Tamar Bercovici".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Snowycats (talk) 17:17, 2 June 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
[edit]Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to [email protected], so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].
Thank you!

Happy Birthday!
[edit]The article Perianne Boring has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
notability not established, not sufficient reliable coverage for this beauty queen turned lobbyist. The Washington Times is local news, only covering her because she ran in DC. WUSA9 is also local news. The WUSA9 article contains no original research, basing primarily on an interview with her, it is not substantial coverage.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ysangkok (talk) 18:02, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
