File permission problem with File:KFm-Family-descriptions3.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:KFm-Family-descriptions3.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 01:26, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
File Copyright problem: Kline–Fogleman airfoil
[edit]- uploading File:KFm-Family-descriptions3.jpg.
Dear Ww2censor i have been through this many times already and the file has been approved by the Wikipedia group many years ago. I have permission from the inventor of the foil who is also the creator of the file KFm-Family-descriptions3.jpg
I have WRITTEN permission from Dick Kline and WRITTEN approval from Wikipedia. I am disappointed we need to consistently need to revisit this issue which is considered resolved by wikipedia. Please research your inbox and mail to find history of correspondence between Dick Kline, Wikipedia and myseld which resolves this issue. I expect this matter to be put to rest once again.

[edit]Hello All information on the Kline Fogleman airfoil is original work that other web sites have used from Dick Kline who is the inventor of the airfoil. He wrote the information and gave it to me to put on Wikipedia. Please help me understand how I need to have his original work left on this site. other sites who may have "borrowed this information do not own the information. If the site RC foamfighters gives me permission to use this information ( Which they have in an email )will this suffice ? Alternatively i can get Dick Kline to rewrite what he originally wrote. Your reply does not explain how the author of the work (Dick Kline) cannot use his own work on Wikipedia just because another site used it on theirs as a Quote No Copyright was obtained for this work.
- Please read the links above about copyright, and WP:OTRS will be able to help in identifying copyright permissions. Canterbury Tail talk 13:40, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Palio dates
[edit]There is no need to restore the dates, as I did not remove them. One who wishes to know the the nonna can look for the earliest date. Adding the number of years and days would crowd the page to no purpose. —Tamfang (talk) 15:31, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Palio di Siena
[edit]Hello, are you trying to nominate Palio di Siena as a Good Article?--BelovedFreak 08:46, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes the Italian Wikipedia article is a Featured article and I am in the process trying to duplicate the information Chiefmanzzz (talk) 09:00, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, well you haven't quite completed the nomination. You've added two templates to the talkpage and deleted the one about it being delisted! Not to worry though I've fixed that. Also, you shouldn't add that the status is "second opinion" because that's an option to add once a review has been started. Don't worry, it's complicated at first! You just need to add whichever "subtopic" the article is nominated in, to the template on the talkpage, and then follow the instructions at WP:GAN to list it as a nomination (not a second opinion). Basically, add
# {{la|ArticleName}} ~~~~
to the relevant subtopic. Let me know if you need any more help.--BelovedFreak 09:08, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- I think I got it now. You may want to double check thanks for your assistance
- Yes, that looks fine. Good luck with the nomination!--BelovedFreak 09:35, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi! I like the new photo. FYI, I moved it to the right to avoid some formatting problems.
Of more interest to me: You added "Category:Art Deco buildings in Australia". Do you have any photos of any of the Art Deco buildings that you can add to the page? Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 08:26, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Yes I do But i dont have information to add to Wikipedia. THis is only a Category page. I have photos of Art deco buildings in Sydney CBD. Ill try and upload them to commons shortly
- Sorry, I was ambiguous.
- Do you have any photos of any of the Art Deco buildings of Concord Repatriation General Hospital that could be added to the Concord Repatriation General Hospital page? Pdfpdf (talk) 10:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yes but I want some better ones, Ill need to retake them on a nice sunny day.
I can understand that! In the interim, anything representative is better than nothing. When you have something better, you can replace them. Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 10:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
The article Song of Blades and Heroes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No indication of WP:notability. No independent WP:reliable sources
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 14:31, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 16
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kefir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Infected (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Australian Institute of Project Management
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Australian Institute of Project Management, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Blue Riband► 03:31, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
