Franz Haniel moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Franz Haniel, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article Ilia Novikov has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Accomplished but not enough in-depth coverage from independent, reliable sources to meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your draft article, Draft:Franz Haniel

[edit]

Hello, Asketbouncer. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Franz Haniel".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 04:21, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PRODs

[edit]

Hello, Asketbouncer,

I have removed PROD tags you placed on articles because you provided no rationale for a deletion. Leaving a comment in an edit summary is not enough, you have to explain in the PROD tag why the article should be deleted. I recommend using Twinkle because it will prompt you to provide an explanation when it places the tag on the page. It will also notify the page creator of the PROD tagging which is an important step in any deletion process. Liz Read! Talk! 21:11, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I inadvertentley deleted your tag, please feel free to add it, if you want. Thanks.Ode Joy (talk) 17:55, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

it's fine. thanks for noticing me :) Asketbouncer (talk) 17:58, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, Thanks. Ode Joy (talk) 18:07, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Adetunji Delpaneaux Wills requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Stefan2 (talk) 16:23, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Stefan2: thanks for that! I should have done that after moving to draft the article. --Asketbouncer (talk) 20:31, 27 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hey, everyone. I was blocked today by MER-C as a sock of globally banned user bodiadub. Literally, I'm now "a suspected sockpuppet of Bodiadub". I know about that user as they are quite famous in Ukrainian (and even English) wikipedia. As I see, I was quickly blocked just after I applied for New Page Reviewer status. Let me guess. I was linked because I edit Ukraine-related articles in both uk and en wikipedias and I use "in use" tags as I saw in bodiadub-related blocked accounts? Or what else? I cannot find any reason for blocking and I didn't get any warnings. I was active on AfD processes and nominated many unsourced and not not notable (in my opinion) pages. Some of my latest AfD nominations were also reverted. I can explain why I AfDed them. So, the only question is why I was blocked and linked to bodiadub account? What proofs I need to provide here? If you read me @MER-C:, I would be glad to hear your opinion too. It feels like discrimination on ethnic grounds. My page about a Ukrainian museum was also deleted :) People, stop please. @Stefan2: we have encountered lately. Sorry to bother you. Could you please help? * I didn't cover that I am from Ukraine; I know about bodiadub user as it's a common topic in Ukrainian wikipedia; I didn't hide myself or used multiple accounts; I started actively using AfD tools when user: Liz suggested me not just PROD weak articles. * I've also counted the number of my AfD nominations: 16. Out of them 11 were successful. So, I didn't abuse the tool. * I'm also a patroller in Ukrainian Wikipedia and received nor ban, nor any warnings. You can check my uk wikipedia edit count and see. * You can check bodiadub edits [1] (not so many only 109 on En wikipedia) and ask yourself: how my account is linked with it? --Asketbouncer (talk) 14:00, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed to prior blocked sockpuppet account, Golden Ranky. Beyond that, not much a checkuser can say (as per prior statements in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bodiadub/Archive). Yamla (talk) 12:42, 3 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Asketbouncer (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

@Yamla: answering your decision. I checked account of Golden Ranky which was created in Ukrainian wikipedia 18 march this year and has 51 edits. Can you please tell how I am connected to this user? It was said that I am a suspected sock account of bodiadub. How I'm connected to both of them? So, explain please why lame account Golden ranky with few edits is the reason I'm blocked? I joined wikipedia amost 1.5 years ago and now I'm blocked because of some strange account? I don't see any logic here. I ask the other admins take a look and answer my above request and question. Right now it's looks like persecution of wikipedia users who edit in Ukrainian and English wikipedia. I also didn't hear what rule did I break? As far as I'm suspected I will strive to get the truth. I think I was blocked because of my beliefs or views. *@Liz: can you please be the mediator here? Asketbouncer (talk) 12:53, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I have looked as well. The WP:CHECKUSER tool gives certain users (Such as myself, and Yamla) access to data from system logs. It appears that This account, Golden Ranky, and at least one other account edited from what appear to be the same PC, at the same location. There's a very close time overlap as well. Question

[edit]

@Onel5969: we communicated a year ago on my talk page. I would like to ask for your help with my block. Can you say why I'm blocked. I cannot get why and the reasons given by admins are quite obscure. --Asketbouncer (talk) 12:57, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Sorry, I can only reiterate information which has already been shared with you, that you appear to be a sockpuppet of another user. What I can add is that MER-C is an excellent, tireless contributor over at SPI. What I can add is that your beliefs and/or views are NOT the reason for your block. You've requested an admin to look into reviewing your block, I would suggest that you wait for their response, and, if necessary, open a dialogue with them. Onel5969 TT me 13:48, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Asketbouncer, the technical evidence shows an exact overlap with Golden Ranky. WP:CHECKUSER goes into a bit more detail and I'm rather limited in what I'm allowed to say about the technical evidence. Note that account is blocked as a sockpuppet of Bodiadub, so we are still just talking about a single case here, just a case involving multiple accounts (as is always the case with violations of WP:SOCK). --Yamla (talk) 14:05, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
