Thank you very much! It's all very new and overwhelming right now, but I've been addicted to Wikipedia for years, so I'm excited. AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 03:18, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
You already seem to have a hang of this place. Be bold and don't be afraid of making good faith mistakes - and if you have any questions feel free to post them here or on my talk page. And above all, have fun! Abecedare (talk) 03:43, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

A Streetcar Named Desire

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from A Streetcar Named Desire (play). When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

(personal note: I'm not really sure why you blanked content and then claimed to do something helpful, you might have been trying to help, but I'm going to be keeping an eye on you. If you do it again, I'm sorry, but I will be forced to report you to an administator.) --Leodmacleod (talk) 21:04, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I went back and checked, and I missed where you had added the link. I'm really sorry and kind of embarassed. My bad. --Leodmacleod (talk) 04:37, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
No, it's okay. I wasn't acting in the smartest possible way, either. I found the Streetcar Named Success article as an orphan and, when I got to the Desire page, I saw that the page I was trying to de-orphan was... identical to the section there. I went to get a drink and think it over, and when I got back, I think I thought I was done and hit save without... being smart enough to preview it. I screwed up much more than you did; it's all okay. Thanks for checking again, and sorry I made it look like I was a vandal. AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 05:06, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Hey AECG, thanks for all your gnomish work lately. I just wanted to let you know that in this edit you accidentally introduced a redlink, Uyghur (people), when you probably meant to put Uyghur people; it's not a big deal, but it's just the kind of little detail that's easy to fix if you check your edits right after you make them. (usually when I accidentally create a redlink like that, I either re-edit the page to fix it, or I click the redlink and make it a redirect to whatever page I want, using the code #REDIRECT [[article]].)

That's all. Good to have you around, and keep up the good work! (we could always use more UUs on the wiki!) If you ever have any questions, feel free to drop me a note at my talk page. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 04:31, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Whoops, I guess I did. I think I read Uyghur (people) on the disambiguation page and didn't think to check for sure. Thanks for fixing it! AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 05:21, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, and thanks for linking me to the gnomish article. I hadn't seen that term used before, and it's pretty cool. AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 05:24, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, reading all that behind-the-scenes stuff can be fun. Personally, I think I fall somewhere between being a WikiGnome and a WikiSloth. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 19:50, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Ooh, a WikiSloth. Anything with the phrase "hedonistic intellectual enjoyment" in the description has got to be amazing. Also, I was looking through your user page, and it seems we read a lot of the same webcomics. Awesome. (Is it possible to start more sentences with the letter A than I just did?) Copyedit request

Hello there. Would you be interested in performing a copyedit on the article adult animation? I have been trying to prepare it for an eventual FAC. (Ibaranoff24 (talk) 23:24, 4 March 2009 (UTC))

Ouch. I'm really sorry, but I'm working on an almost complete rewrite of Virginity testing right now, so I don't really have the time for another large project. Thanks for asking, sorry I can't help, and good luck finding somebody. If I free up some time, I'll definitely stop on by and check it out. AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 23:45, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Bleacher Creatures

Hi, thanks again for your peer review on the Bleacher Creatures. I fixed the lead a little bit (among other things) but I think it still needs a little work. Should the first sentence focus on where they sat in the old stadium, or should it describe the group more, like the second sentence does? Seems like it could go either way. --Sportskido8 (talk) 15:53, 6 March 2009 (UTC)

It could go either way. I think that the location is less important than what the group is about, though, so it might be best to summarize the Bleacher Creatures more definitively in the first sentence, and to place their old seats just before the sentence about their new ones. AnEmptyCageGirl (talk) 16:00, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Hey, I revamped the article a bit and added some sections. I nominated it for GA status; might not be ready but I figured I'd give it a shot. Do you think the article has improved a lot? --Sportskido8 (talk) 01:11, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Feedback request

I've answered your feedback request at WP:FEED. Sorry it took so long. There appears to be only one other editor besides me who gives feedback now. I saw that you commented on another person's request. Nice! If you thought the feedback I gave you was helpful, you should consider answering others' feedback requests on a more consistent basis :-)

Regards, Killiondude (talk) 08:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

I've added a bit more. --  Chzz  ►  14:38, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Are you still active in WikiProject Orphanage?

Hey there, I'm currently updating the member list at WP:ORPHANAGE. Do you still wish to be listed as "Active"? -- œ 21:40, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

Articles written by a single editor

Hi, thanks for your help removing the numerous red links in the WP:ASE project's listing pages! Nicolas1981 (talk) 12:44, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello there, I noticed you have edited the Croatan High School page, as have I. I was just wondering if you were an attendant?--NYMFan69-86 (talk) 22:44, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

I'm sorry to disappoint, but no, I've never even been to that part of North Carolina. I was just working on WP:Disambiguation pages with links when I edited the article. Annalise (talk) 00:39, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh, shoot. Well, nice talking to you.--NYMFan69-86 (talk) 13:47, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

GAN backlog elimination drive - 1 week to go

First off, on behalf of myself and my co-coordinator Wizardman, I would like to thank you for the efforts that you have made so far in this GAN backlog elimination drive. It has been nothing short of a success, and that is thanks to you. See this Signpost article about what this drive has achieved so far.

We're currently heading into the final week of the drive. At this time, if you have any GANs on review or on hold, you should be finishing off those reviews. Right now, we have more GANs on review or on hold than we do unreviewed. If you're going to start a GA review, please do so now so you can complete it by the end of the month and so that the nominator has a full 7-day window to address any concerns.

See you at the finish!
