Per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images#Location, avoid sandwiching text between two images that face each other. It's not a big problem, but it would be great if you could choose three of the images you have put in Wemyss Private Railway and remove them from the article, at least until there is more room. Image permissions
[edit]I believe you were copied on an email providing permission for these two files:
2870 Montrose (Cal) station 16.6.60.jpg
2875 64615 St Cyrus 16.6.60.jpg
I'm not finding either one.
If I recall correctly, you are the person that normally uploads the file, while the permission is provided by the copyright holder. Do you recognize these by another name, or are they about to be uploaded?--SPhilbrick(Talk) 13:39, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
I am just about to upload these files - to my sandbox in the meantime Alanyoung2154 (talk) 14:52, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Montrose and Bervie railway, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Timetable (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

banff images
[edit]I see a request for permissions related to two files named banff2.jpg and banff4.jpg. I assume neither have yet been uploaded. There is already a file with the first name, so different names would be better.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 01:59, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mediran. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made to Invergarry and Fort Augustus Railway, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Mediran talk to me! 12:44, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

Railroad images
[edit]I see a permission statement for several images including:
1950 65315 Kilsyth 3.3.58.jpg
but I do not see that those images have been uploaded. Can you leave me a talkback when they are uploaded, and I will process the permission statement?--SPhilbrick(Talk) 14:31, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
There's also an image, same locomotive as in Kelvin valley railway 3.jpg, but taken at a different location. Am I right in guessing that you chose not to upload that one? (No talkback needed, I'll watch for an answer this time). My bad, all taken care of.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 17:45, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Alanyoung,
I have used two photos you uploaded last October, (File:Gordon Highlander steam locomotive.jpg and File:Steam train at Banff station.jpg) in the Great North of Scotland Railway article. We are looking at the article at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Great North of Scotland Railway/archive1, as we see whether it's good enough to be a featured article on Wikipedia. The Banff station image has a note 'OTRS pending October 17, 2012' and so I imagine you emailed [email protected], but this has not been matched with the images. Can you help with more details about the email so I can contact an OTRS volunteer and see if we can get the images tagged? Thanks Edgepedia (talk) 12:32, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
- You probably know this, but I resolved both on 14 September 2013.--S Philbrick(Talk) 23:19, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
New images
[edit]I see an OTRS permission request (VRTS ticket # 2014011110008961) for two images,
- 2886 256 Auchtermuchty 17.6.60.jpg
- 962 54494 Ladybank 17.9.55.jpg
Are these images you are about to upload, or have uploaded under different names?--S Philbrick(Talk) 23:25, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
