Nice work

Nice work on the Infonautics article. It shows that company articles can be neutrally written and well sourced. Thank you for your work on the article. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:47, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks! -- 1Wiki8........................... (talk) 11:43, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Regarding your username

I know you have probably gotten many messages with this title before, but I am NOT telling you to change your name. It is how did you get your username? Keyboard smash? Clubjustin Talkosphere 11:14, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Oh, a keyboard smash would of been much quicker and easier to create! Actually, the username is a base58 hash of an ECDSA public encryption key, also known as a personal bitcoin address. Generating it took a long time in order to get the '1Wiki' characters in the front of the hash. Of interest, the Ledger (journal) is picking up on this practice of using personal bitcoin addresses for identification and verification. -- 1Wiki8........................... Haha! That's cool! But on the other hand, it has caused pings to be completely unusable.BTW, has anybody sent money to you via your username? Clubjustin Talkosphere 11:29, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
There is also an easier to write User:1Wiki8 - an un-used alternative account created during the 2015 RFC/NAME discussion about my username[1]. I sent a few test transfers to the address myself, details in the blockchain[2]. All tests coins were consolidated a few months ago and sent to 1Dvnze9nqUZt2gS72qh17R1CyHXhy36vnd[3] which now holds a grand whopping total of 0.02070332 BTC. -- 1Wiki8........................... I figured it had to be a bitcoin address when I saw your username. I have experience in Bitcoin addresses myself. I currently own like 2 addresses at the moment. Yoshi24517Chat Online 22:20, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
