Destination X (2007) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on March 11, 2007 from the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the third event under the Destination X chronology. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card.
Background
[edit]The event featured nine professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds, plots, and storylines. Wrestlers were portrayed as either villains or heroes in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.

[edit]The Elevation X match between Rhino and A.J. Styles was the next match on the card. It began with Rhino and Styles fighting on the floor before ascending the structure. Styles was the first to climb up to the top, followed by Rhino after a brief time. During the match, Styles hid between the rails of the structure where Rhino could not see or get to him for a few minutes. Styles lost the match, however, before he fell off the X, Rhino performed a running shoulder block to Styles' mid-section which caused Styles to roll off the X. Styles grabbed a steel pipe to stop him from falling. Rhino then stood up and stomped Styles' hands, causing him to fall 15 to 20 to the ring below, giving Rhino the victory.
