Pau Khan Tung

Pau Khan Tung was born in Tiddim. During the 2016–2020 academic year, he pursued a Zoology major at Kalay University and studied up to the first semester of his third year with honors. However, his education was interrupted by the outbreak of COVID-19, and since the 2021 military coup led by Min Aung Hlaing, he has remained on strike as part of the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM), unable to continue his studies.

The coup has devastated Myanmar’s economy, including Chin State, forcing citizens to struggle for survival. This has highlighted the urgent need to provide education to Chin/Zomi youth.

In response, Pau Khan Tung has been actively involved with Techno Valley, striving to deliver educational opportunities to Chin/Zomi youth through technical and skill-based learning initiatives. His commitment continues to this day.
