At age 7, Kevin Kunze made his first film with his father's old home movie camera. Ever since he has been obsessed with storytelling and moving images.

While in high school, he directed and edited a half hour documentary for Doordarshan, one of the largest broadcasting organizations in the world in terms of the infrastructure of studios and transmitters. The film was broadcast world wide in 146 different countries.

His other movies have been shown in festivals and art galleries in Italy, England, Japan, Australia, Canada, and across the United States [1]. His biggest major accomplishment was screening at the DGA theater in NYC to a packed crowd of kids for the NY International Children's Film Festival [2].

His clients include: Singularity University (NASA Ames)[3], Microcinema International [4], Pinnacle Communications, UG Strategies [5], How-to Homestead.org [6], MastaMind Productions [7], and Social Capital Entertainment [8]. In 2008, Kunze joined the Board of Directors for RevitalArts, one of the few student run non-profit organizations in the United States [9]. The organization produces several theatre, music, and film programs including the Stratford Film Festival.

In November 2010, Kunze screened his first feature film, Id at the Red Vic Theater on Haight St. in San Francisco. It also marked the director's 21st birthday and over 130 people came out for the event. [10]
