Hello and welcome to my user page
[edit]I'm an academic who has used Wikipedia for many years as a research resource, and I rate it highly. I'm also an experienced writer and editor of books and articles, so I hope that my expertise will be useful at some point.
Interests
[edit]My main interest is in film culture and history. Within that, I'm fascinated by costume and set design, and have a special interest in the relationship between fashion and film. I'd like to write a book about the French filmmaker, writer, poet, designer and artist Jean Cocteau -- the inspiration for my user name.
