Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (born 3 February 1992) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Stabæk in Norway's Eliteserien and the India national team. After starting his career in India with East Bengal, Sandhu signed for Stabæk in 2014, making him the fifth Indian footballer to sign for a European club. In 2016, Sandhu became the first Indian footballer to play in a first division European football match and the first Indian footballer to play in a European competition when he started for Stabæk in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.
During his time with East Bengal, Sandhu helped the Kolkata side win the Federation Cup, the Indian Super Cup, and the IFA Shield all during the 2011–12 season. He also helped East Bengal to finish as runners-up in the I-League twice. Sandhu also spent a season on loan with Indian Arrows, the All India Football Federation I-League development side.
With the India national team, Sandhu has won one tournament, the 2015 SAFF Championship. He made his debut for the team in 2011 during the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers. He was also selected to join the team as third-choice goalkeeper during the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. In 2016, Sandhu was named captain of the national team.
