Partnerships and Affiliations

[edit]

The only current partnerships that Roush has that I know of are with RYR (engine program) and No Fear Racing (cars and engineering). The Tim Brown partnership has gone nowhere and has no current Wikipedia page. Where are these other partnerships (Sacks Motorsports | Front Row Motorsports | MBA Racing | Wood Brothers Racing) coming from? Sacks, Front Row, and MBA don't even run Fords. -- DiegoTehMexican 03:21, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they do. Sacks is supposed to run Roush-Yates engines once his Cup team gets going. Front Row does run Fords occasionally, the ones they picked up after they purchased Peak Fitness, and MBA is running Fords in 20-222 races with Roush-Yates engines. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 11:01, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you can find links to info about this, I'm all for adding it to the template, the Partnerships section of Roush Racing, and the respective team pages. I can't find the info on Jayski or RacingOne though. -- DiegoTehMexican 16:03, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Check the Jayski team chart under 2006 and look under "engine supplier." That's where I got it from. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 16:40, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Basically, all of the Ford teams are using Yates-Roush engines, which would be covered under the RYR partnership link, already in the template. Also, the only notable team is Wood Brothers Racing - Sacks hasn't made an attempt all season, Front Row uses mostly Chevies, and MBA Racing is using Toyotas next year. I really don't think that they're worth adding. -- DiegoTehMexican 18:10, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Using your same criteria, Robby Gordon should also be in the template, since he uses Roush/Yates engines.--AEMoreira042281 15:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good point yes. Sacks has made an attempt, but I'm just nitpicking. A small part of me thinks Tim Brown's team should still be included on there, but knowing how most of these NFL-player-owned "diversity" teams turn out, it should probably not be added yet. Keep everything as it is know, and be sure to bring up the Roush/Yates partnership where appropriate. --D-Day I'm all ears How can I improve? 18:35, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jacques Villeneuve

[edit]

Does anyone think it may be about time to remove Jacques Villeneuve from the template since there has been nothing more mentioned than an unfounded Jayski report?Blueracer6 09:10, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
