Why was Clipperton removed?

While the Scattered islands in the Indian Ocean are administered by the senior administrator of the French Southern and Antarctic Territories (TAAF), they are not part of the TAAF. Why are they listed as if they are part of the TAAF? -- (Shocktm | Talk | contribs.) 21:35, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. --Juiced lemon 23:23, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since when have the Kerguelen been uninhabited? They are not uninhabited. They have about 60 full-time residents and more in the summer. RoyalMate1 20:17, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Claims on Mayotte

[edit]

Do Madagascar and Mauritius actually claim Mayotte? There's no mention of that on the Mayotte page itself. --Jfruh (talk) 18:17, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was probably a mistake. Futhermore, Réunion is not claimed by any neighbouring country. Thierry Caro (talk) 17:27, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
