Why?

[edit]

Did I miss a discussion somewhere about this template? I'm not sure I understand why we need this. In fact, I think it's a bad idea because it's so large, intrusive, and selective -- RoySmith (talk) 15:53, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Massive, Ugly, too inclusive

[edit]

I think this template should be discontiuned and deleted. There is far too much information for one template, and it dwarfs articles like Broadway Bridge (Manhattan). It is trying to be everything to everybody. Really, it needs to be an entire page long? Cacophony 18:41, 15 January 2006 (UTC) It is still massive. I move that Template:Chicago be used as the standard. Cacophony 20:51, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

CFD

[edit]

This page was listed on Templates for Deletion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion/Log/2006_January_15#Template:New_York_City where the concensus was to keep/trim. I removed the tag from the main article becuase it shows up with the template. Cacophony 05:15, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit

[edit]

Oooohhh, Chicago's is nice. How's this?

Flag of New York City City of New York

I think it looks great! Cacophony 21:26, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Color scheme

[edit]

The new color scheme is terrible - the orange background makes the text hard to read. Going to try something else. SixFourThree (talk) 20:06, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
