Title bar color

[edit]

There is variation in the shade of green used by different states. I've always used "#9BCB65" because that is used by the navigation template for US National Parks. We need to get a consensus on which green to use. VerruckteDan 20:12, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I say we should use "#9BCB65" to keep the colors uniform. Dincher 20:24, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, all the protected areas templates were changed to use #abdb75, while I wish there had been discussion, I'm not worried about it enough to contest the changes. VerruckteDan 22:44, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I made most of the above mentioned changes because the original shade of green made the text a bit difficult to read. I used a technique that I have used on other navigation boxes with dark backgrounds: simply increase all three hex values (thus "9C CB 65" became "AB DB 75"). If someone feels the need to change this, please choose a color that is not too dark. A list of the templates I have updated can be found at User:Zyxw/parks. They would be easy enough to change via a tool such as AutoWikiBrowser. -- Zyxw 02:17, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
