This template can be used to cite the 1st (1955) or 2nd (1975) editions of Kelley's General Topology.

Calling

will display:

Kelley, John L. (1975) [1955]. General Topology. Graduate Texts in Mathematics. Vol. 27 (2nd ed.). New York: Springer-Verlag. ISBN 978-0-387-90125-1. OCLC 1365153.

Usage

Add the following into the article's bibliography

and then add a citation by using the markup

which results in:

Either the year (1955, 1975) or the edition (1, 1st, first, First, 2, 2nd, second, Second) parameters can be used to select an edition.

To only cite a specific portion of the book, use chapter (synonymous with section), p, and pp.
