History of Wageningen (1939-1945)

[edit]

I am considering breaking out a separate article, History of Wageningen (1939-1945), to more fully develop material related to the city's experience of World War II. If anyone has comments, ideas, or suggestions, please note them here. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 18:28, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest spinning out History of Wageningen first – "(1939-1945)" looks as if it complements "(pre 1939)" and "(post 1945)" articles. Since "Wageningen" is not too long, I guess you must be worried about undue weight. Placed as part of a general "History of..." article buys you a lot of room in this regard; probably enough. You can always create the even more specialised article after. Grandiose (me, talk, contribs) 20:38, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting suggestion, thanks. Yes, for the current article important to further develop contemporary aspects of the town and municipality. DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 06:20, 27 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
