Removed 'Cock Rock' line

[edit]

In the Musical style section, I removed a line about Quatro being 'cock rock', a style of rock where the performer emulates masculine sexuality. It said that Suzie has taken ownership of the rock cock.

Woah! I think it's an outrageous thing to say that Quatro is attempting to emulate a man, or his sexuality, or taking ownership of a cock. She's her own person. She's not trying to emulate a man. That opinion was held by one author. It was demeaning to women. It had to go. Lester 11:33, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That seems completely reasonable. Toddst1 (talk) 14:03, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Quote

[edit]

Not altogether sure the quote that follows accounts for this statement: "In 1983, journalist Tom Hibbert wrote that Quatro may have overstated her role as a leading light among female rock musicians." The real notable element of what Hibbert wrote was that Quatro "lacked class"; does that necessarily imply "Quatro ... overstated her role as a leading light among female rock musicians"? Seems like an unwarranted extrapolation. What did "lacking class" even really MEAN, here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.109.196.158 (talk) 03:57, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
