for all u intellects out there , I have a question; how many watts will it take to run a 12 volt pump with a capacity of 1250 gph(water/sand/gravel) for a length of 10 feet? my e mail address is- [email protected] thank you

How come someone writes that this is a good article? (see above). It is incomplete, and mentions a completely inaccurate number of installed PV pumps (www.ruralenergy.nl) and others are installing hundreds of these pumps in Africa.

Additionally, a solar thermal pump exists - could be added but keeps being deleted since it looks like a commercial publication, however since only one of these thermal pumps exists in the world, it is not. It is not a question of whether only one exists or not. It is a question of "due weight" to the topicWP:UNDUE. Until third parties begin to comment on such (newspapers, journal articles etc), it is difficult to establish the notability of the subject, hence the reversions by myself and Fastily. There were some major mistake in the article and non-object to the solution components and application,I made a little comment, want to say that, solar pumps is a very good solution for many cases, especially the system is based on DC BRUSHLESS MOTORS, WHICH IS MUCH HIGHER CFFIEICNCY FROM LESS PANELS SIZE. Merge Solar water pump to Solar-powered pump

[edit]

The merge tag at the Solar water pump article was added by someone else but there was no discussion about it yet so I'll create one.--Lenticel (talk) 03:37, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I support the merge as long as the refs that I added to the Solar water pump article is added to the Solar-powered pump article.--Lenticel (talk) 03:37, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. It would be very nice to have some statistics on how many solar pumps are in use, and where. Are there any Stirling pumps in use? --Wtshymanski (talk) 16:42, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
