Oriente is not the same as Santiago de Cuba. Why when I am searching for Oriente do I get another province? - (unsigned - User:Phattonez - 08:53, 26 June 2006)
There isn't an article about the historical province of Oriente yet (but it would be welcome). Oriente is a redirect to Santiago de Cuba Province, as the Oriente province was called Santiago de Cuba before 1905. While not very accurate, cubans still use the two terms when referring to either Oriente or Santiago de Cuba. Qyd(talk)16:27, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You haven't said what you think is wrong with the coordinates in the article, and they appear to me to be correct (i.e., indicating a point roughly in the center of the province). If you still think that there is an error, you'll need to provide a clear explanation of what it is. Deor (talk) 18:45, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
