Location
[edit]I don't know how to participate in Wikipedia but the Salmagundi Club, and Fifth Avenue, is not on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The club is quite squarely in Greenwich Village. It's a long walk to the Lower East Side from there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.251.31.10 (talk • contribs) 15:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

St. Louis Salmagundi Club
[edit]In researching the artist Ernest Albert, apparently he was highly active at a "Salmagundi Club" in St. Louis in the 1880s. There are many articles in St. Louis Post-Dispatch from that decade covering the club's activities. I haven't searched more broadly, but I am wondering if there is a connection.
