This is just a start. I hope that many will find this entry useful and informative. Next I would like to describe specific aspects of Risk II that differ from the classic board game. I plan on writing more detailed sections about Sametime mode, the ranking of the AI generals and the unmentioned 100/80/60% domination, capital election, mission etc.

Before editing, please decide if the information you want to include is specific to Risk II, or if it is better suited to the more broad category of the Risk board game.

Oh, please do. I'm not that good on writing encyclopedia, though, so I have to rely on someone else for the main structures. --Thaimodz 16:01, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Risk II Cover.jpg

[edit]

Image:Risk II Cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I believe I've got this thing up to compliance now. Thunderforge (talk) 03:35, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Strategy in sametime risk

[edit]

I discovered a good strategy for sametime risk. I was holding North America, and through Hawaii and alaska, kept an opposing AI from getting the asia bonus by attacking his territories with just enough force that I conquered one of his terretories, but he could retake it on the next turn. I simultaneously swept around the other direction (east) to get him from behind. I think this strategy of keeping somebidy from getting a bonus and attacking him from another angle should be mentioned. 69.161.17.164 (talk) 20:18, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
