I removed the following:

Qaid means a chicken with one wing and three legs. If you see a qaid then you are lucky.

Isn't Qaid also a variant spelling of caid? It's one of those words that's famous in Scrabble because it doesn't have a u after it. GumbyProf: "I'm about ideas, but I'm not always about good ideas." (talk) 18:57, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Marche

[edit]

There is a marching song of the French Foreign Legion (a.k.a Légion Étrangère) called Le Caid. I have long been curious about its name, but never found it in French-English dictionaries. I happened to see the word QAID in a crossword puzzle, with the clue "Muslim judge of North Africa". I guessed that Caid might be a variant spelling of Qaid, so I looked it up in Wikipedia. Rainbow Six: Siege character

[edit]

There is a character in the game Rainbow Six: Siege named Jalal El Fassi, nickname (or maybe 'codename' is more suitable) of Kaid, who is a defender operator in the game. I am unsure how to add him to the lists or what list, or even whether he should be added. What do you think? LucasImpulse(talk) 11:14, 17 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
