Way to much original research in this article. I'll try and help out by adding some relevant info and putting more encyclopedic language.--Jersey Devil 22:18, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning of "Peruvian American"

[edit]

This article takes way too many liberties with the classification of "Peruvian American".

  1. Peruvians by birth are automatically excluded from this classification (with the exception of special circumstances).
  2. People such as Arthur Chin, who have some Peruvian ancestry, cannot be considered "Peruvian American" given their stronger ethnic connection to another (in this case Chinese American) classification.
  3. Peruvians who acquire US citizenship later in their lives are not "Peruvian Americans". They are simply Peruvians with dual citizenship.

Does citation #3 ("A Brief History of Peruvian Immigration to the United States") still work? The link seems to redirect to a different site now.-Ma11 (talk) 02:36, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citation #14 ("Miguel Arteta: Overview") seems like it links to the MSM homepage and not any specific information about Miguel Arteta. Also, his wikipedia page uses the same citation (citation #2 on his page).-Ma11 (talk) 02:48, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
