Link in Footnote #10 is dead
[edit]The link to freeotfe.org lead to an advertising page. I am not experienced enough to find another suitable link, it might be simply removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:F8:5744:FE00:7294:5572:3561:7F20 (talk) 20:05, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
Where's PKCS#2 and PKCS#4?
[edit]Numbers 2 and 4 are conspicuously missing from the sequence. I assume they were simply withdrawn, but if anyone knows the story it'd be cool if the article told the tale. Saucepan 19:17, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- They have been withdrawn since they became part of other standards. I have really never seen them when they were active so some history digging would have to be done. Maybe some time... --Schnolle 00:06, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
PKCS#11, which is indeed often used for smart card access, has nothing practical to do with single sign-on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.235.62.252 (talk) 20:16, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
PFX?
[edit]PFX redirects to this article, but this article provides almost zero information about it. Either the redirect should be deleted, or some information added here. JulesH (talk) 14:12, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
- Bump. Can someone with PKI experience hand this? I do not have enougth background to do it, but I will try in the future if no one do it. 95.16.43.156 (talk) 01:08, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Jun2017: It's been redirected elsewhere (specifically to PKCS#12), this section is no longer relvant and may be archived. Dannyniu (talk) 04:27, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on PKCS. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20140401120450/http://www.emc.com:80/emc-plus/rsa-labs/standards-initiatives/pkcs12-personal-information-exchange-syntax-standard.htm to //www.emc.com/emc-plus/rsa-labs/standards-initiatives/pkcs12-personal-information-exchange-syntax-standard.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).
This message was posted before February 2018. After February 2018, "External links modified" talk page sections are no longer generated or monitored by InternetArchiveBot. No special action is required regarding these talk page notices, other than regular verification using the archive tool instructions below. Editors have permission to delete these "External links modified" talk page sections if they want to de-clutter talk pages, but see the RfC before doing mass systematic removals. This message is updated dynamically through the template {{source check}}
(last update: 5 June 2024).

PKIX link
[edit]Looking into what the shortcut( appearing in the first paragraph) PKIX means it seems to me it should be linked to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IETF_PKIX_Working_Group but I'm not sure as it wouldn't make much sense being a part of IEFT stated next to it.

RSA-Laboratories Links
[edit]None of the links towards RSA-Laboratories are valid anymore. I don't know where to find the new ones. 83.98.229.18 (talk) 08:43, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
