The Link to the NZZ English Window does not work any more. Does anyone know the new link?

It seems to no longer exist at all.--Ami in CH (talk) 07:35, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fraunhofer Institut für Medienkommunikation

[edit]

The last sentence (mentioning work by Fraunhofer Institut für Medienkommunikation in Sankt Augustin) is irrelevant to the subject at large and it should be removed. Drux (talk) 21:31, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Layout

[edit]

The NZZ introduced a new layout this year. I thought I'd write something here, as I'm too lazy to enter it onto the main page.--Ami in CH (talk) 05:58, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The note Cyril Jost (4 February 2011) no longer works. There is a French version at https://larevuedesmedias.ina.fr/les-defis-de-la-presse-suisse. I've found no English version, but, given browser translation capabilities, perhaps the link can be changed to the French without inconveniencing English readers? Introduction

[edit]

I feel like the introduction emphazises the quality of the NZZ a little too much.

"The Neue Zürcher Zeitung was founded in 1780. It is seen as having been a precursor in objectivity and in-depth treatment of serious news, combined with editorials, and coverage of cultural news. Its high standards were emulated by other prestige newspapers that followed."

But I cannot access the source, as it is offline. Shall we neutralise the language a little bit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikitigresito (talkcontribs) 01:20, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

please don't try to revise text when you have not seen the reliable source. Any library can get it for you. Rjensen (talk) 07:50, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Rjensen: Hey, thanks for your input. I moved the quote from the introduction to the history section, because I think the article otherwise sounds a little too promotional. What do you think? I also read some articles about a decline in quality and change in political position recently, maybe we should move the quote back to the introduction and include this to give a balanced overview. wikitigresito (talk) 22:24, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
