Humanitarian
[edit]Hi User:Beccaynr I think you removed "humanitarian" from the lede. The article states she works for Plan International, a humanitarian agency, I think therefore it's fair to call people who work for humanitarian agencies humanitarians. Or am I misunderstanding your edit? CT55555 (talk) 23:36, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- The Plan International role is described as "a senior public health specialist" by the source, which does not seem to support generalizing this as "humanitarian". I was also thinking of the sources I added to the AfD discussion describing highlights from her career, and the apparent need for secondary sourcing before we can describe her as a 'humanitarian'. Beccaynr (talk) 00:12, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
- I think public health specialists working for humanitarian agencies are humanitarians. Health is a humanitarian activity. It's not like they will employ people with the job title "humanitarian worker", every humanitarian will be a health worker, or a water engineer, or a shelter designer, or a food specialist etc etc, so from my perspective if we consider it safe to say she worked for Plan International, I think we can say humanitarian. But I don't care much, so I'll drop this here, it's a minor point. CT55555 (talk) 00:28, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
