Article name
[edit]Is the NBS-1, the most commonly known name for the aircraft? I believe that it should be the Martin MB-2. I can find numerous references for it under this name, relatively few under NBS-1. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 23:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC).
- You may be correct, but I'm not familiar enough with the subject matter. I recently created a redirect so that Martin MB-2 points to this article. Maybe it should be the other way around. --Itsfullofstars (talk) 05:12, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- A Google search (undoubtedly unscientific) produces substantially more hits on Martin MB-2, something of a factor of 100X more. All my secondary reference sources list the aircraft type first under MB-2, then group it as either Martin-Curtiss NBS-1 or the Curtiss NBS-1 which marks an unusual collaboration of the two manufacturers.
