Indian Point going off-line by 2021

[edit]

On 9 January, 2017 Gov Cuomo and Entergy signed a deal in which Indian Point will shut down Unit 2 in April 2020 and Unit 3 in April 2021 bringing about an end of energy production at the plant. I placed an edit in the Indian Point "note" box reflecting this change, but didn't know how much detail to put in, as it's a note. Any ideas on enhancing my edit would be appreciated.CarlsonC (talk) 17:37, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Greenport (Suffolk or Columbia Counties)

[edit]

Is this list suggesting that the plant originally known as the "Greenport Municipal Light and Water Company" in in Greenport, Suffolk County, New York is owned by the Long Island Power Authority? And does the New York Power Authority own the plant at the Greenport, Columbia County, New York? What's the deal with these? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 02:03, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is the plant in the Village of Greenport in Suffolk County I'm referring to.
