what about the Greenfield tornado?

[edit]

should be added to the "Possible EF5 intensity" table due to winds estimated to be over 300 mph! Beluga732 (talk) 23:19, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We are already having a discussion on this matter, ask User:WeatherWriter for the discussion, as I'm on mobile and can't access the link. Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 23:45, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IF5?

[edit]

@WeatherWriter I'm a bit confused by the "IF5" thing, what exactly got upgraded? (My revision diff thing is broken so I can't see exactly what changed) Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 04:49, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1930 Italian tornado. I was scrolling social media and saw something about it being rated IF5 by ESSL. Sure enough, back in May 2024, ESSL changed the rating of it from F5 to IF5. The European Severe Weather Database doesn't even list "F5" with it anymore and only lists "IF5". The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 04:51, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, the 1930 Montello tornado! Was it really that off-the-radar? Sir MemeGod ._. (talk - contribs - created articles) 04:53, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
